Hence the reason for my pessimism about Spidey going to the MCU.

C'mon dude. Do you honestly believe Arad has all the creative control over the franchise? You make it sound like he's the mastermind of this thing.

I know there is a limit that they need to keep making the films by or they revert the rights. 3 years has been widely rumored for Spidey and the X-Men for a long time and that's what I'm going off of.

Hey, maybe in all these leaks there's an actual copy of what the contract Sony and Marvel signed actually says. I'd love to read that.

I have proof that Disney traded all financial stake and control of the film franchise to Sony in exchange for the merchandising rights.

The proof didn't suggest there was a time limit of the deal.

didn´t they traded the animation and Merchandise rights to Marvel for more time to produce the reboot or something like that?

Well I don't know how that new deal alters things regarding the old deal they had with Sony when the sold the rights back in the 1990's. But it's widely accepted that Sony had a clause in the contract that said they had to keep making these films in such and such timeframe or they'd loose the rights. Fox had a similar deal.

Maybe the new deal meant Marvel/Disney gave up the small percentage they have usually made on these films along with the already small amount of creative control they had in exchange for those merch. rights. It's just a theory because I can't imagine them being willing to give up the rights permanently for all time.

The 2017 film is Black Cat
Sony re-re-announce Webb as Director for ASM3 (he was confirmed to return at Comic-Con)
A Venom movie is given a release date but no casting
An actual event movie with Spider-Man fighting the Sinister Six in 2019
Some kind of Marvel co-operation
Tolmach and Arad are re-re-announced as Producers for these films (they were previously confirmed two months ago I think for Venom and S6).
The whole thing wont be very long like the James Bond announcment.

I kind of like what you are thinking hear and kind of agree. If I am understanding what u are saying u are saying that instead of doing sinister six movie and then having sm fighting them in asm3 they will have the sinister six movie and then asm3 and then have the movie event so like an asm4 so that way they give it one more movie to bulid up to sinister six. I think Garfield will came back but I think raimi will came back has a producer ever thing else I agree with you.

I like to think Marvel has a script ready to go for all their properties not currently in house and are just waiting on the rights to revert to start up production

I don't that is true that they have scripts. They probly have a basic out line for things though like what villains they would like to use or some small things they would like to have in the movie.
