if the same Alice Eve shot was in a Bay movie everyone would roll their eyes. since its JJ its ok. just reminding you.

and ST 2 like ST looks like a ILM/Michael Bay movie. in details. i accept this look for a summer action movie. they have my ticket.

Shut up, dark_b. :o

:oldrazz:

Seriously, though, knowing Bay's work, I think there would be several more instances for us to bellyache about before we have to settle for a girl in her lingerie.

Yes because for one little reason. Bay makes terrible movies. JJ does not. Bay relies purely on the adolescent sexuality of teens to come in droves to films like Transformers. JJ tries to go for a little more than that.

JJ adds these weird things called characters, and cohesive plots into his movies, their odd, but they somehow make better films than what Bay does.

So as long as those key elements are present, a double standard on the objectification of women is acceptable and no eyes will be rolled on this day.

Who knew Abrams was unanimously thought to be making excellent films these days.

That analysis says Harrison is looking over Qo’noS in one shot right before or after he says, "Your commanders have committed a crime I cannot forgive…None of you are safe…have I got your attention now?" Could that give more credence to the idea that he's a Klingon in disguise after all?

Anyone want to try making a Star Trek into Undies Darkness poster with Alice Eve in place of Cumberbatch?

I don't have a problem with Alice Eve in her bra and panties in this movie, because (a she's hot as hell and (b Rachel Nichols did the same thing in Star Trek 09 and oh yeah, did I mention Alice Eve is hot? I didn't want to leave that part out.

I'm sticking with that. Even if he isn't Khan, he clearly is in league with the Klingons or a Klingon himself. They're in this movie after all, right?

And I'm sticking with my "out there" theory that Benicio del Toro is in this movie playing Khan.

Ya didn't you get the memo?

There is objectifying both sexes in Hollywood, so it's not some new things, and let's not turn this into a moral crusade. It can be bad at times, and other times it's just harmless. My point is Bay does not go much farther then that. In the 90's he made some decent films, but since Pearl Harbor, he has gone down many notches in my book.

I think Alice Eve looks prettier in this movie than I've seen her elsewhere. She looks more like Emma Frost normally and very sultry, but here she seems to have a more classy and innocent look. I think it's partly the hairstyle, which is very fetching.

Does anyone really seriously still think Khan is in this movie? Sounds like another fan rumor/speculation that always seems to take on a life of it's own due to the directors trying to keep everything a secret, and then we see the film and it turns out to have no basis in reality, or even matter. The aliens in The Avengers, for example. So much speculation about their identity, and in the final film it was an afterthought.

I am still trying to figure out what is going on in the scenes in which Harrison and Kirk are seemingly working together. I am starting to think Harrison might at some point shows them the Botany Bay, or something like that. Perhaps that is what they are doing when Kirk and Harrison does his Dead Space impression.

Yep...because it doesn't matter what he does, people on the internet roll their eyes and complain about him. His name has become a meme....

I still think there is a very good chance this is still connected to Khan. Harrison is clearly an augment and there are those shots of people who look like they are in cryo.

Hard to tell. Things have been kept under wraps pretty well, (typical of JJ) so it will keep us guessing probably for the next month or so. I wonder if they will do early screenings in April like they did for ST09. I'm sure in the next month or so we will learn more.

I still think no. But any more all my theories have been debunked or are questionable now.

I'm so glad to see Peter Weller back in action, I've always really liked him. His voice=awesome.

Well since no-one else was going to do it...

That's right, you were brought on board for your acting prowess.

I think Pine might be channeling Shatner a little when he says "At what?" in response to Harrison.

I also find it amusing that bra technology has not improved all that much between now and 2258.

There is always a few spurts of Shatner in ST09. Especially when he said "Spock...it'll work." near the end of the film. It's kinda cool when he does do it.

David Marcus begins! Since this universe is different to the original/prime Star Trek universe, imagine if David does eventually exist, and this James Kirk actually becomes a more active dad. Since George Kirk was killed by Nero and couldn't raise James and his brother, Kirk might not want his son to go through what he did himself...

Looks like Slave Girl Leia will be topped when JJ starts Star Wars.:yay:

She would make a better sue storm than that other one.
