Well, Zoe Sultana was also in her underwear in the movie in a brief scene, but once we saw the movie it didn't seemed forced or anything. And Star Trek could use a little sex appeal imo.

It made sense in the movie, but to stick the shot in the trailer is just apropo of nothing.

But it's working, since the first comments here and on YouTube are about that shot. As if you've never seen a woman in her underwear before or bought the SI swimsuit issue.

I think the two scenes we've seen in different trailers of Alice Eve follow one from the other. In one trailer we see her screaming hysterically. I think she wets herself, leading to the other scene in the new trailer where she needs to change her underwear.

I'm impressed the details of this movie have been relatively kept under wraps. Sure, there have been some leaks of information, but overall the containment is better than other comparable blockbusters.

I'm glad that there is not an over-abundance of information. At least the film will have some surprises in store for me...And considering how high cinema ticket prices are these days, that is a good thing.
