I've tried......but with zero success.........:csad: :oldrazz:

but....alas......I can dream........
Yes, this is the begining of the 4th season, and i answered the ending with 5 seasons question first :argh:

I happen to like this one

Agreed (along with Liam Neeson, who I thought was the best part of TPM). He seemed like he was having the most fun in the prequels too. He brought a lot of the Han Solo-type humor into the prequels as well as all of the heavy stuff he had to do, which was great.

Liam was great in TPM,

Out of the new characters introduced in the PT these are the best additions to the star wars mythology

1. Qui-Gon Jinn
2. Mace Windu
3. Jango Fett
4. Count Dooku
5. General Grievous
6. Padmé Amidala Skywalker

no the dialogue was flat in the OT also...Harrison Ford always picks at GL for the dialogue in the OT
The script for Star Wars was written by Lucas as well as the final draft of Return of the Jedi (Lucas made adjustments to dialogue in Jedi's script upon its completion).

thanks!!

and sorry about that.....I guess I didn't see your post.......lol

I hope they revamp it into an OT show when CW ends......preferably between ANH and ESB...

I'd love to see that. Another idea is to run CW chronology through the revenge of the sith. You could have the side character stories and maybe focus on the jedi that survived order 66.

I didn't find it yet, but, anibody else's a fan of Ashoka?
In the film i found her extremelly annoying but i must say that her character has evolved and become much more likeable

I am. :awesome:

she's the main reason I watch the show.

we pretty much know what's going to happen to all the other major characters.....

except Ahsoka............

She has become so much more likable as the seasons have gone on

Ahsoka could concievably survive the purge but retire from the Jedi life after seeing Anakin's turn. It would explain why in the entirety of the post ROTS EU we never see or hear of her. Seeing her master turn not just dark but so completely evil would be enough to destroy her idealism of the Jedi life. If Anakin, who looks so well adjusted in the Clone Wars can become like this, what hope does she have?

I can understand how some find it hilarious though, cause the same thing happens to me with Luke's "I am your father" moment, which isnt meant to be funny at all. To this day i cant keep myself from laughing whenever he replies "That's impossible!"... the way Mark twists his mouth is just crackes me up lol. I think that's why this moment isnt as jaw dropping and dramatic to me as it is to most.

I think that there are points when McDiarmid does put some humour in there intentionally, camping it up a bit, because the Emperor does have a wicked sense of humour, and is reveling in unleashing himself on the Jedi.
I don't think it's in the same way as you finding Luke's straight delivery funny at all.

Cackling away with the big lines like 'Absolute power!!!!', that is supposed to be funny in a way, the Emperor finds the situation funny, so we can too if our sense of humour leans that way, y'know, it's like watching the Joker in TDK, you can laugh along with the villan sometimes.
and then there are the lines that are meant to be funny 'little green friend'. I do think some of his delivery has some humour in there, when he is talking to Anakin when he gives him the Vader name, y'know, sometimes it's good for a villan to have some camp in there, showing them enjoying themselves. The only problem is if most of their performance is camp, but if they present a successfully dramatic threat, having the villan whoop it up and enjoy themselves is fine, and makes it a more enjoyable performance. Hannibal Lector has a bit of camp in him, so does both Nicholson and Ledger as the Joker. Just in different degrees.

Oh yeah he's full of camp and thats because Ian is having so much fun being evil which is a joy to watch, Ive always said after Ewan he gives the best performance in the prequels. Its just his facial expressions that bother me. Theyre so unintentially funny and weird.

Shipping soon.

haha, no, they are intentionally funny, he knows what he is doing with that kind of thing, he is an old hand with pulling the faces in performance. It's like, he has some humour in ROTJ, but here, this is the Emperor's big unveiling party, he's loving just going nuts with his insanity in front of the Jedi after holding himself back with the regal demeanor for so long.

that's one scenario.....and that's kind of the one I'm hoping for.

or else she dies......and Anakin is unable to prevent her death.....

which would feed into the pattern of him feeling he is unable to protect the ones he loves, namely the women in his life. First his mom, then his wife ( although that became more of a self-fulfilling prophecy ) and now possibly his apprentice........

Most of my Sith Lords have lightsabers, Vader, Sidious, Revan, Talon have lightsabers. I like symmetry.

To be honest....I was kinda eh...about that. I know that was kinda cool scene in TPM.

If it was this pose. I probably wouldn't have bought the other one.

Shocked I am not, much hate do I feel in you, clouded your future is.

Hahaha! :awesome:

I think Aotc is completly underrated . Yes there are some cringe worthy lines and some editing issues but overall I think its a damn good film , and after TPM and ROTJ , the story took a more serious tone .

I loved the storm troopers clones plot . I really thought it had a noirish Blade runner quality . Especially in the beginning . To me it felt it a returm to form in spite of some flaws . I love the film . Much better than TPM or Jedi

Disagree. I think it's overrated. It's one of the worst movies I have ever seen in my life. I'm not playing up some fanboy nonsense. The movie is just horrible. I hate every second of that film. Every frame. The action is boring, the effects are awful, and the acting is the worst in the entire saga.

Except for one scene. The Kamino Fight. :awesome: That scene is great. Classic too. It's fighting, no Lightsaber crap. Just off the cuff's knockout, with some swashbuckling in between. :hrt:

Jake Loyd sucks. But man, atleast he was this cute little kid, Anakin was just a whiny girl. I get it, he's a teenager...but a damn creepy one. Everything he says is borderline crazy.

ROTS, while not IMO a good movie, was still 100 x more entertaining then that piece of ****.

Like I said, I'll stop bashing the PT, except for AOTC. That movie is just so rotten.

Me and my dad had to see it twice, because we couldn't believe how godawful it was...we even tried to blame our dislike of it on ourselves. We thought we overhyped it. And I was like...10 or so when it came out?

I do remember laughing out loud when Yoda did his crazy fight. That was so funny, and embaressing to me.

Ah, that felt good. :D

But I dont HATE ROTS or TPM. I dont like them...but they have their strong points. I love the last 10 minutes of ROTS. Something about it, was just perfect. Except for the "noooo" scene. :o

Tied up everything perfectly.
