Hey guys. Just wanted to let you know I've been working on a prequel re-write - mainly just the first two prequels. Big changes will be made but the story line will be somewhat the same....same characters with bigger roles and there are some that I've omitted completely. I've taken some other characters that were in EP II - Jango Fett into Ep I, for example. I was thinking of introducing General Grevious in Ep II somehow... possibly towards the end.

Couple of new additions this week, the Diplomatic Mission diorama and the awesome AT-AT Driver bust.

Awesome stuff Hunter! The At-At driver looks really cool. That scene from ANH when we see Vader do what the statue is depictingis just so awesome, and I don't think I'll ever forget Vader's entrance, and that whole scene. I've always remembered that part.

The Premeire is the 29th isn't it?

Yeah, I can't wait for it to be back on. This season is going to be great!

Awesome art pieces! The first one with the Sand Troopers looks great, as does the Scout Trooper/Commando.

I love this poster, very onmious with Palps overlooking the playing pieces on his chess board.

Yeah, it's very cool. Plus it's essentially what Palps really did, playing, and slowly manipulating all of the pieces into place for his takeover, that evil old bastard! lol

I hope the Mandalorian Queen dies...just because I f***ing hate the fact that she exists & the Republic Commando novels are retconned because of her.

There are so many sides to this issue that it's ridiculous. I agree with what you say. Traviss basically wrote the entire Mandlorian lore and did a great job of introducing new and believable characters into the EU. The RC books really made you feel for each and every Clone and took us on an awesome adventure. We got to learn so much of Mando culture and saw just how different they are from every other race. We also got to see another story where the Jedi question just what is going on with the war and in politics. But written EXTREMELY well.

Alot of the other books are so driven by 3 characters with only one viewpoint that these were a fresh spin on the EU stories that we already loved, but seemed to go stale (With the exception of NJO, that was lame early on, and quite repetitive).

BUT! I think it's time we all sat back and let Filoni work his magic. There isn't a thing we can do about it now. It's too late. Lucas gave him permission/the ok to go along with whatever he has in mind. It's George's baby and as always, he can change/expand/ruin the story any way he pleases.

The Mando Queen doesn't need to die, either. It can easily be retconned that Clan Skirata were trying to start Mandalore over and disassociate themselves with her AND The Death Watch and get back to the roots of traditional Mandalorian culture.

You need it to complete the circle of Obi-Wan's, as you have Old Ben animated, CW Ugly-Wan and Nomad Kenobi.

But if they are in Black Sun, does that mean it will negate anything from Shadow Hunter to Phantom Menace continuity for Maul?

No character has ever made a more impactful screen entrance than Vader IMO.

I'd love to see more books written on the special units like the Scout Troopers and their part in the war with the rebellion.

"Officially," I think Clone Wars trumps all continuity-wise except for the films themselves.

Enjoyed the premiere and although I'm not a fan of Darth Maul's return, they seem to be handling it well. And I always enjoy shows that focus on Obi-Wan as well as when you throw in Hondo.

I also noticed a change in the designs of Yoda & Palpatine. I also noticed it odd that Palpatine's voice seemed to change in the middle of the scene. I know the voice actor (aka Mr. Pit) passed away, but the begining of the scene sounded like his voice, but the second half it sounded like someone else. Perhaps the original voice actor had already recorded some stuff for Season 5, or perhaps it was for a scene meant for last season.
