Yeah, Yaddle was sort of lame but it did had me interested to see her back story. When AOTS was coming out I followed up on some of the characters and was surprised that they simply killed her off.

I wish they would show some of Aurra's Jedi/Force skills...but didn't they were focusing more on the bounty hunter aspect and less on the jedi/force aspect...IIRC, it was said she may be too similar to Ventress....

Yeah, I think her early Jedi training was RETCON'd when Ventress was created. Aurra just gets no love I tell ya.

Lucas envisioned the members of the Council fighting and thought that animating Yaddle along with Yoda, and possibly Yarael Poof, would be too costly and time-consuming.

Ventress was an early design for the sith apprentice that would later become the darth maul we all know and love. So maybe they included Aura in the movie and gave her a jedi related background as a nod to that. The designs even look like they could be the same species. Of course having ventress herself would negate the need for Aurra to be an ex jedi force wielder.

as in arguing? or as in light sabres?

I heard Poof and Yaddle were cut down to eliminate confusion for new fans. I read that Poof looked too similar to Kaminoans and Yaddle obviously was another of Yoda's species.

I also had heard of that issue with Poof being too similar to the Kaminoans species. It's too bad because I wanted to see how'd he look in action.

Robot Chicken did an excellent Yarael side-story. :yay:

I read through Darth Krayt's Legacy last night and I was thinking he could show up in the CW as he was a Jedi called A'sharad Hett in that time period and has interesting interaction with Anakin due to his history with the Tuskan's.

It was like they were trying to create a Mrs Yoda, was she edited out of the Blu Ray release?

:wow: I didn't know that. As awesome as Maul is, it's a shame we are unlikely to ever see Ventress in a live-action Star Wars movie.

Wow, those look great, Hunter! :woot:

On a different note, i must say that as wild and passionate as SW fans can be, the Batman fans are making me think we're tame lol. Dear lord, say BB is a better movie than TDK and suddenly you need to be "checked" :whatever:. There's complaining everywhere folks, it's not just with Star Wars! hahaha

There are complaints in the SW community as well. I would have thought that to be common knowledge.

That's why i said it isnt just with Star Wars :cwink:

I misread, withdrawn.

I wonder how deep the SW fandom goes on this site.

On this site Batman fans take the cake.Nothing beats Batman. Ever.

For anyone that's interested here's the whole info on A'sharad Hett courtesy of www.wookiepedia.com

Yeah, agreed. If you want to see SW fandom at its best (and worse) i say theforce.net boards are the best source. I've unleashed my fandom there many, many times lol. I've visited many boards, but that's the one i've stuck with the most.

That Yoda statue is great!

It's even better than the pic shows, as the paint is darker and the eyes are much more subtle.

Wow, those look great, Hunter! :woot:

I got a shock when I opened up Chewie, he must be about 16 inches, I had to do some rearranging to accommodate him. :D

I love his design, it obviously has elements of the Tusken Raiders but also of the early Mcquarrie design for Luke.

IDK, sadly, I haven't seen the Blu-ray version yet. It's ordered and on the way though. I'll let you know.

I actually own them but didn't notice, what scene is she in?

You can catch glimpses of her in the Jedi Council scenes.
