Star Wars - Part 6

Precisely. I had 1-2 games for the psp & the controls just felt clunky to me & weren't all that great in gameplay & overall experience.

But later on he wasn't against using different force-sensitive groups (Emperor's Hands, Emperor's Reach, Emperor's Voice, Emperor's Eye's as Emperor) and IIRC he founded the Prophets of the Dark Side during or b4 the CLone Wars.........any followers would also be classified Dark Jedi, they used the dark side of the force but weren't taught the teachings of the Sith as only he and Vader (or Maul, or Dooku, being the "official Sith" of the PT and OT eras) would be the only ones with knowledge of the Sith teachings......

Didn't the Dark Jedi come after the purge? He cultivated some of the Jedi who survived Order 66 after he had full control of the Galactic Senate, to try it while not in full power would be risky, he's already juggling Dooku and Anakin within his plans. As for the Prophets, they would not pose a threat to him as a Jedi or Sith appentice would.

.....I wish we would see some more of Dooku's Acolytes...with Ventress and Oppress MIA for the time being, maybe introduce some of the others...maybe hints at Vos or Bulq's turn...although would that timeline clash with the books...

Well Ventress is not MIA she is now the leader of the Nightsisters and faces Grievous this season, and I imagine Opress will be involved in the return of Maul arc. What other accolytes does he have btw?

-Artel Darc who was to be in the book Escape from Dagu but that book was cancelled, IIRC the book was focused on Shaak Ti...

-Kadrian Say, former Jedi Knight, I believe she was a body guard type for Dooku......she used the Right of Denial to protests Jedi decisions regarding the Clone Wars...Dooku eventually seduced her to the Dark Side...

-Sev'Rance Tann - I believe she was introduced in the Clone Wars video game from 2002...she had the rank of General...I'm not sure if she appeared outside of the games though...

-Tol Skorr- this character I'm only familiar with because of the action figure...LOL...

-Sora Bulq-

-Quinlan Vos-

....I'll add more as/if I remember......I'm not that well versed with the CW themed EU, my experience is mostly with the two cartoons...

Jedi Master Krell was a jerk indeed, very unjedi like. I can't wait to see how this story arc unfolds.
Krell reminds me of our new IT director at work. :D

Thanks for the list. I think since Vos has been introuced it would make sense to use him, and visually the one that stands out to me is Sora Bulq, so they'd be my choices if they add a new Acolyte for Dooku.

...no problem...I though for a second I was coming off Like I was arguing, I wasn't trying to...LOL

Don't ask why...I've always loved those Weequay guards in Jabba's skiff......so i wouldn't mind seeing Sora Bulq......only problem with Vos would be the timeline of this series with the books/comics...

Well i love Vos, so i wouldnt mind if they explored his connection with Dooku and the darkside in the cartoons even further.

Anyone know why all of Darth Krayt's 'One Sith' bar Darth Nihl are red with black tats like Darth Maul despite being various species?
It kind of looks like it was just a choice by the artist. I mean, most all of the species being shown are known to occasionally have red skin.

Haven't seen a Devaronian Sith before, that's kind of rad. (Even though it kind of goes against the nature of a male Devaronian :word:)

The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural.

anyone think
Krell may be in league with Palpatine...
...I doubt it but couldn't help but think maybe when...
Krell dropped Palp's name as the one who requested him to leave
...It would make things interesting...

I didn't think about it too much, however given the clues to his character thus far, there is a good possibilty for it. He shows aggression, anger, and impatience, which are against Jedi teachings. The fact Palpy recalled Skywalker is also suspect.

Vos treated Clones the same way that Krell did. From what I understand alot of jedi treat clones like droids.

No not at all, I was just curious over who the other Dooku Acolytes were.

I have as well as I had one amongst the first Star Wars figures I got. :D With Vos I imagine whatever they did with him in the CW would be considered canon.

Ah, an artistic choice to have them all reflect one of the most popular characters in the saga, smart move. :D

With those horns you'd think they'd be ripe for a spot of dark siding.

Finished the second season. The Mandolore episodes were pretty awesome, aslo enjoyed the Boba Fett episodes.

I'll be getting S3 whenever I can. The show definitely improves a quite a bit after S1. :D

Indeed, that's why i wouldnt mind if they explored that aspect of Vos further. He's just such a cool jedi with a very interesting path. I loved the craziness and reputation he had in what they did show of him with Obi-Wan :hehe:

I loved the Mandalore eps!

The show gets better with each season IMO, but this seasaon has started slowly.

You like yourself some Vos, Obi Wan will be getting jealous! :oldrazz: He is interesting, kind of a Native American Rock star Jedi!

Speaking of the Mandalore episodes, Deathwatch return this season!

Can't wait! I hope the female LT is a good character. Any idea when the Death Watch arc is?

I'm a woman and can multitask lol.

I assume Deathwatch returns early next year, maybe near spring to start off the Maul appearance?. Hopefully we'll get some info regarding the schedule after the holiday break soon.

I think Asajj's Nightsisters look is a great evolution, especially when she has the cloak.

I thought you were gonna say you are a one Jedi woman lol.

Do you think Death Watch will be linked to the Maul arc? I figured they'd somehow fit into the arc where Ventress faces off with Grievous.

I think the Maul arc and the Ventress arc will be separate. Perhaps they'll come together for a big finale.

Well that too :oldrazz:

Well who knows, i dont know if one will link to the other in some way but i dont rule it out either.

Do you know how old this picture is?

I wasn't using the picture to show that he looks like a "bad" jedi. I was just showing a big ass picture of Vos to get my point across. I don't if it's changed recently, but my knowledge of Vos is that he doesn't respect clones just like Krell.

Preview of this week's CW episode:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dc6lS7pXy9o

Description:

General Krell orders Captain Rex and the clone troopers of the 501st Legion to conquer a heavily fortified Umbaran airbase, and will not accept anything less than victory. It is an almost certain suicide mission, unless the clones can use their ingenuity to defeat their new enemy.

Almost on random, a couple weeks ago I decided to give this show a shot and watch the first episode.

3 seasons and 7 episodes later, I'm hooked. I must say, I'm rather impressed with how much I enjoy the show. I expected it to be kid-friendly, but nooo. There's death and adult themes, just like all the best classic animated series.

Does anybody else tend to prefer episodes that focus mostly on Clone Troopers? I find those to be the series' strongest, with the Season 3 openers standing out the most. It was nice to see Fives again in the newest episode.
