A couple of great pieces of art.

Darth Nihl and Darth Talon

The Valley of the Dark Lords

Wow great episode of Clone Wars this evening. Nice huge battle, I love Jedi Master Krell even though he's an ass to the clones. I can't wait to see next weeks episode

Agree. I'm glad they did not make Krell as big as Dex. It shows that Dex just happens to be "a good eater," as oppose to a species trait.

The thing about a commanding officer being a jerk is fine. My problem is it is very un-Jedi like. So I wonder what the story is. And is it somehow related to Anakin being called back to Coruscant by Palpatine? I'm interseted in seeing what that's about as well.

My wife has only ever seen Star Wars and The Phantom Menace. I'm trying to find enough time for us to watch The Empire Strikes Back but our lives are quite busy for movies.

We attempted watching Attack of the Clones but she had to stop watching because she found it way too boring for her tastes.

Not that I blame her as I don't really care for it either.

Anyone know why all of Darth Krayt's 'One Sith' bar Darth Nihl are red with black tats like Darth Maul despite being various species?

She's a member of the Jedi council so she should be in the scene w/ Young Ani doing the "Guess the object" test.

I'll give it a check.

He's certainly a very different type of Jedi, I looks forward to seeing him get more involved in the action with his two duel bladed Lightsaber's. :D

Thats why I like him. He's different from any other jedi. He is still a good guy but hes goin about it differently. I hope he doesnt die during this 4 episode arc. Last nights episode almost had a Saving Private Ryan feel to it, I hope the other episodes are the same

Not really. Anakin & Obi-Wan are in the minority in treating the clones like actual human beings. Quinlan Vos was also an ass to the clones, he refused to call clones by their regular names. He only called them by their numbers.

Last night's episode might be one of my favorite episodes of the whole show. Clone oriented episodes always turn out to be the best, I wish the whole show was about them with cameos from the movie characters.

I was looking at a picture of the Imperial Knights from the Legacy series of books and their look reminds me of the Gentle Giant Obi Wan statue with him in trooper armour but with his Jedi cape.

Has anyone read Star Wars: Union?

:lmao: That cover is absolutely......really terrible artwork, just like one of those covers for a mawkish Mills and Boon romance novel that old pensioners read. Luke is not even looking at the bride...and it is as if she notices this, and is thinking, 'eh, I don't think he's that into me after all, he's more concerned with that sith guy he wants to fight who is sitting over there...'

Just speculating here, but i think that might be a move to maybe help Anakin move towards the darkside a bit by Palps.

Krell seems a bit reckless to me, especially for a jedi, so imagine something happens to Rex or any of the clone troopers that Anakin has become close with... or maybe Palpatine is even trying to get Obi-Wan out of the way as well. If Krell fails he said so himself, the burden is on Obi-Wan. Anakin will always go out of his way to help Obi-Wan out if needed, they cover each other's backs. But if he's not there and something happens to his master or his clones, the powerless feelings he felt when his mother died would come back (and given Palpatine's knowledge of the situation with the sand people) and might push him to where Palpatine needs him to go.

Far fetched theory maybe, but it's fun to play with these ideas :woot:

Hopefully we'll get more answers in the next episode, but there's just many ways this could play out.

Upcoming episode airing dates:
Episode S0408 - The General - November 4 2011
Episode S0409 - Plan Of Dissent - November 11 2011
Episode S0410 - Carnage Of Krell - November 18 2011
Episode S0411 - Kidnapped - November 25 2011
Episode S0412 - Slaves Of The Republic - December 2 2011

The first 3PO/R2 episode was cheesy, but I liked the second one.

Jedi Master Krell was a jerk indeed, very unjedi like. I can't wait to see how this story arc unfolds.

anyone think
Krell may be in league with Palpatine...
...I doubt it but couldn't help but think maybe when...
Krell dropped Palp's name as the one who requested him to leave
...It would make things interesting...

I didn't think about it too much, however given the clues to his character thus far, there is a good possibilty for it. He shows aggression, anger, and impatience, which are against Jedi teachings. The fact Palpy recalled Skywalker is also suspect.

Agreed.

...I also think it opens up good possibilities with how the Jedi are/they are indeed that "weak" that they couldn't detect their own, if they had fallen to the dark side, if Krell and/or maybe more Jedi are secretly with Palpatine (also makes sense Palp's may have spies/followers in the order)......would add a bit to Palpatine/Jedi issues (Palp's the Mastermind of everything, fooling the Jedi) in Episode III...

...again, if they went that route...lots of possibilities with this...i'm excited...

Palpatine follows the rule of two, I don't think he would allow a third in on the plan.

I was thinking maybe he had struck a deal with Dooku but I hope not. I hope he's just a jerk that will probably change a bit over the 4 episodes

But later on he wasn't against using different force-sensitive groups (Emperor's Hands, Emperor's Reach, Emperor's Voice, Emperor's Eye's as Emperor) and IIRC he founded the Prophets of the Dark Side during or b4 the CLone Wars.........any followers would also be classified Dark Jedi, they used the dark side of the force but weren't taught the teachings of the Sith as only he and Vader (or Maul, or Dooku, being the "official Sith" of the PT and OT eras) would be the only ones with knowledge of the Sith teachings......

.....I wish we would see some more of Dooku's Acolytes...with Ventress and Oppress MIA for the time being, maybe introduce some of the others...maybe hints at Vos or Bulq's turn...although would that timeline clash with the books...

It's a shame they never released or made SW:Battlefront 3.:csad:

Its a shame the last few installments were handheld exclusives (IIRC)......what are the console owners to do...
