I read this interesting article in Star Wars Insider, entitled "Family Traditions".
The article states that the old Jedi Order is partly to blame for Anakin's downfall. The author says that if the Jedi never enforced the "no-attachments" rule, Anakin would've never fallen to the Dark Side.
Do you agree?

Nope, i dont agree with this. While the Jedi Order was far from perfect and the Jedi did need to make adjustments, it all boils down to this for me: Anakin made a choice. He chose to turn; he didnt have to. Turning to the darkside wasnt his only choice. He had other options to consider. Anakin's issues went far beyond the non-attachments rule in my opinion. And while he loved Padme, he chose to turn because he wanted a little thing called power. It started out as wanting the power to save her, but ended up proposing to defeat Palps and overthrow him; that wasnt about Padme, that was about him.I read this interesting article in Star Wars Insider, entitled "Family Traditions".

my final paper in my last Philosophy class was on this very issue!
I did a 15 page paper on how the Jedi-order is to blame for their own destruction.
"Balance" in the Force is the goal and the Jedi over powered the Sith for two thousand years.
The Jedi are a big issue in what happened in ROTS

What was your grade on your paper?
And honestly, I don't think I could ever get away with a topic like that at my college.![]()

I guess they've tried keeping him and his origins a bit of a mystery. Maybe somewhere down the line they'll add a bit more detail to it; i'd love to see how Yoda became a jedi and how he ended up on the Council... but i admit, part of me likes the fact that his past is unknown.I've had a question gnawing at me for a time. Why has Lucasfilm always kept the issue on Yoda's species concealed or been so secretive? I researched it a bit on WookiePedia & it's rather inconclusive.

Can anybody tell me what the Outbound Flight project is? And what is the link between this and the Thrawn saga?
That was their end game. Anakin was the chosen one, they groomed him that way and kept their eyes trained on him.
They ultimately lost sight of what was important. They treated him as a means to an end and ignored something that was extremely important to him
