Cool :woot:. I do wonder though, did Shaak Ti officially survive Order 66 or not? both of her deaths ended up in the deleted scenes in ROTS...

Um....Up until the events of Force Unleashed, yeah she survived Order 66.

If I remember well, it's one of four things George Lucas has expressedly forbidden the EU writers to ever write about in their stories, the other three being Luke's, Leia's and Han's deaths.

Although I think those three will eventually be adressed in the future, now that Luke's been portrayed as a Force Ghost in the Legacy comic books.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think Han & Chewie's "origin story" was also for-bidden. It's been alluded to many times but never actually shown.

Nice X-Men homage! :awesome:

Thank you! I knew that looked familiar, but couldn't place it.

Nope. Unless this has been recently said to be not canon, Han rescued Chewie from being killed by the Empire. After this, Chewie told Han that he now owes Han a life debt & the Galaxy's best friendship was born!

It's a little more complex than that, but that's a nice little summary of it.

So what brilliant motivation did Palpatine actually come up with for the reason the Jedi started the Clone Wars in the first place again?

That's what he means by it being 'alluded to', we have all heard that basic origin story, but Lucas has never allowed anyone to explore it in full, probably because he wants to do it himself one day, or at least, personally supervise how it is handled.
It's just like the fight between Obi-Wan and Anakin that put Vader in the suit, Lucas gave the basics of the origin in a Star Wars annual back in about 79/80 or thereabouts, that they fought on a lava planet and Vader fell into lava, but no-one was allowed to do the story in full, because he wanted to do it himself someday.

Is TFU considered canon? i've never played it and dont know about it lol. I've always had the doubt of why she was killed in two different scenes that ended up in the cutting room floor; did Lucas have plans with her beyond the movies or was it that he just couldnt make up his mind about how he wanted to kill her off? :oldrazz:. I love Shaak Ti, she was awesome in the first CW cartoons; i hope they include her more in the new ones.

Yes, TFU is considered canon.

You should at least read about the storyline of the games, it's pretty interesting.

The Jedi didn't start the Clone Wars, the Senate did. But the Jedi offered to be generals, like Mace Windu said "we're keepers of the peace, not soldiers".

Exactly. Thanks TBWW

Yeah, that was always cool. That was the one thing we all knew was going to happen in Episode III. Except if you think about it, if Anakin fell into plain lava, there would be nothing left to salvage. :funny:

Hrm... I always thought they were in those Han Solo novels. I've never read them, but I want too.

Yeah, I read them a while back, and the second book (The Hutt Gambit) depicts Han and Chewie's meeting up.

Heads up, people!

TCW is back tomorrow! The slaves arc will finally conclude!

I'm surprised they haven't used Shaak Ti in more storylines with Ahsoka given they are the same race, it would seem Ahsoka would be interested in Shaak Ti's point of view n matters.

Wow. That's a pretty badass picture. I wish ROTS went into that territory. That would've been impressive to see. In fact, I think it would've been cooler to have ROTS be the 2nd film, and the 3rd showing the last remaining Jedi surviving around the galaxy.

It's a shame the story was told as a trilogy IMO as the Clone Wars, the Jedi purge and the Jedi survivors would have all made for great movies.

Congrats! That's a pretty badass statue. :woot:

:D  Should get here in a week to ten days, just need to find space now lol.
