So i just realized that the Plagueis novel is available on amazon and i thought i had pre-ordered it and i didnt. It's sitting in my cart . Oh well, it's on the way soon t: although i'm tempted to buy the kindle for pc version... but i hate reading from my pc.

I love my Maul btw . I'll take pics of him soon and you'll have to put up with them even if you've seen it . Suddenly i'm reminded that i owe Hunter pics of the Chronicles (OT) book

There was a time I could have tried and set up some sort of Imperial Bust Collection. (Stormtrooper, Scout, Gunner, AT&AT, Hoth Trooper, TIE Pilot, Sandtrooper, etc.)

But I'm happy with my Sith Lord collection.

It's actually a 2012 AFX Exclusive, BUT if you are a PGM member, I think it eventually trickles down to them.

I bought the Exclusive Nihlius figure from AFX which I got a week or so ago but it was available 2 days ago from Gentle Giant for it's members.

When I see that Plagueis was an Alien, I'd really would want a story and I'm wondering if it's in that Plagueis/Sidious book of where his disdain for non humans come from.

Speaking of which, if Palpatine didn't want aliens in his Galactic Empire, why did he allow Thrawn to serve?

He did put him in the outer frontiers of the Empire.

That's like if America was the Empire and sending Thrawn to Alaska.

I was at the taping last night - he talked about the Star Wars Holiday Special during the pre-show Q&A too, after someone asked him if he was planning to see TPM in 3D. Apparently, Stephen is not a prequel fan ("the only difference is that now the sucking is coming right at you!"), since he said the only thing worse than having the prequels in 3D would be having the Holiday Special in 3D.

I liked the prequels, but that was still funny.

I am getting the feeling Gentle Giant are moving more into just doing busts as well, their output and upcoming stuff is predominantly in that area.

Would I be right in thinking Sideshow are a bigger company overall? their output is constant and very varied. Their diorama's and the statues/PF's seem to have pushed GG more towards doing a lot of mini busts as Sideshow don't have a line in that size, they just have the big busts.

Sideshow has more contracts with Star Wars, Marvel, DC, among other Sci Fi licenses. Gentle Giant has Star Wars, Marvel, Harry Potter, and Suckerpunch?

Suckerpunch is an odd one, don't know why they went for that, even stranger is Sideshow have also gotten a Sucker Punch deal as a PF for one of the characters was amongst the 12 days calendar reveals.

I still highly doubt it gets made. I've been waiting on this since what..? 2005? I remember when it was first announced.

Well, considering it took 16 years to see another Star Wars film since the end of Return Of the Jedi, I think there's still hope. Also the fact, Lucas is a little renowned for being slow at bringing new material to the big/small screen.

Oh, have a sense of humor. It was funny. I thought it was hilarious, and I'm totally planning to see TPM in 3D.

The TPM thing wasn't even part of the show, it was part of the Q&A he did before the show started. The segment he did kinda proved that he and his writers are a bunch of SW nerds.

George Lucas was even on Colbert's show once, they had a lightsaber fight in the studio.

Peter Jackson's personal assistant was in the audience yesterday too. And we found out from him that...Peter Jackson likes a lot of tea.
