I don't find Robot Chicken funny. Sorry.
It seems that Vader kept the information secret from the whole Empire, and acted surprised when the Emperor told him about Luke. He may have hoped to find Luke and turn him to help strike down the Emperor, which he later purposes to Luke near the end of the film, before anyone else knew what he was doing. You could argue that ESB's title crawl has indicated he's learned the truth:
"The evil lord Darth Vader, obsessed with finding young Skywalker..."
But then the scene with the Emperor doesn't make any sense because Vader acts like this is a very casual surprise to him.

Well, this might not be a valid point, but according to Wookiepedia, the Jedi code clearly states that Jedi do not kill unarmed enemies, which is exactly what he did. I know it might not be canon for the movies, but I still think he did wrong there. But that is just my opinion![]()
He's not surprised because the Emperor doesn't reveal anything. He did the same this with the Galen Marak (Starkiller) from The Force Unleashed.
Agreed. I would say it was after ANH and before ESB that he found out who the pilot that destroyed the Death Star was and he put two and two together. Doesnt seem there were many Skywalkers in the galaxyNo he didn't - but he did know that the force was strong with him.

I've always loved the concept version of both Vader and Luke by Ralph.

I'll get to this. I thought I had pics of the other shelves but I made some additions/subtractions. Got rid of my old Darth Maul and Episode II Obi-Wan, got Admiral Ackbar, Ghost of Obi-Wan, Darth Sidious and Episode III Obi-Wan.I'd like to see your collection of Star Wars heroes busts and statues.
Me too, the gear Luke wears is particularly interesting.

I wish someone would walk into the Batboards and some of the other forums and do what must be done.![]()
I still wonder if Rex was there in this moment. For some reason i get the feeling he wont be...
Clearly when Obi Wan hid Luke he didn't follow WITSEC protocol!![]()
. Do you think it was a deliberate move by Yoda and Obi-Wan though? i cant help but get the feeling that they knew Luke would play a vital role in the future and it was his destiny to face Vader at one point.

Very ahead of its time if you ask me.
Bane totally bit off of Luke's fashion sense. Best recognize Bane ol'boy.![]()
There's a real underwater look about that original Luke design, like a futuristic Thunderball.I still wonder if Rex was there in this moment. For some reason i get the feeling he wont be...

Well Rex was created for the Clone Wars toon and I feel his arc will end with him going his own route....or Anakin killing him.![]()
Why?
If he refuses to follow Order 66.
I just realized something. In the Clone Wars cartoon, there was an episode regarding a deserter of the Clone Army, who went ahead and had a family. If he could go against the programming of the Republic, don't you think that a few of the Clones could have went against Order 66?
Or can it be explained away that Clones who resisted the programming were 1 in a million?
That is correct. My point is the deserters are going against the imbedding in their genetic makeup in becoming deserters.

Precisely why i'm wondering about Rex.. If there's a clone that has it in him to disobey an order it's him, not to mention that the deserter episode featured him and in the end he didnt report the clone. I cant help but feel that despite his programming Anakin could rub off on him somewhat and make him question some orders (like we've seen him do). Could it get to a point where he flat-out refuses to go along with something he sees as wrong? i dont discard it.I just realized something.
