Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II

Australia's "M" is probably the equivalent to the United States' "E10+". :hehe:

Maybe it's a Star Wars Saga game like Lego Star Wars, but with the engines (Euphoria and DMM) used in The Force Unleashed. Whatever it is, we'll find out about it on Saturday.

This wouldn't actually be bad. If they recreate the saga with a game in the likes of Jedi Knight's gameplay, count me in!

I'm a little bit biased here but the Jedi Knight series is one of the best games that has ever came out of their asses.

I've developed a mod for Jedi Academy over the past 3 years (it's out and we keep updating it with newer stuff) that recreates Star Wars battles in Multiplayer fashion ala Team Fortress meets Counterstrike.

You have classes that represent each archetype of characters we see in the movies (Jedi/Sith, Mandalorians, Bounty Hunters, Droidekas, SBDs, Wookiees, Troopers, Heros, Clones, etc). Then each classes has a set of buyable skills and gear that you invest in as you play.

Sadly this will probably just turn out to be TFU2.

Just give us another Battlefront already! :argh:

The Force Unleashed 2! I guess we can change the title of the thread now.

Yea thats what i thought the Star Wars game was gonna be.

Cool deal tho. Enjoyed the last one.

How the **** is Starkiller alive?

Great looking trailer.

idk what happens in between the first and second game, but hey im excited. i hope this like the assassins creed franchise, the first being enjoyable and the second being amazing

Haha nice way to put it. I agree.

Maybe this thread should me merged with MINE :cmad:?! :o

Anyway...This is from Kotaku...
Earlier in the day a Kotaku tipster emailed us describing exactly this trailer. The tipster said the game is being developed internally at LucasArts and will be out in late 2010. "It is everything the first game could/should have been and a lot lot more (online support!)" the tipster wrote.

I felt like they really dropped the ball last time, especially after the hype machine for the first one.

Starkiller is looking pretty bad ass there. Considering the game ended with the formation of the Rebel Alliance, i hope we get to see him lead a battalion in some massive battle against some of the empirial forces. Thatd be pretty sick.

It says Dec. 14 for the trailer :( I hope GT.com uploads it today.

EDIT: They need to add multiple lightsaber styles. Seems like we'll be able to use dual lightsabers, but I still want to be able to choose a single saber and a double-bladed one.

What a minute,They better have a good excuse for him being alive. He was pretty banged up in the first. Also after already fighting both Vader and Palpatine who could possibly be a boss in this one?

Not much in the press release.

With Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II, the epic story continues as players once again assume the role of the devastatingly powerful Starkiller - Darth Vader's secret apprentice set during the largely unexplored era between Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope.

"Executive Producer Haden Blackman and his team have been able to build on the core foundation of the award-winning original and create a powerful combination of engrossing story-telling and intense action. The Force Unleashed II gives fans an opportunity to wreak havoc on an even greater scale in the Star Wars universe," said LucasArts' President Darrell Rodriguez.

It only confirms it's still before A New Hope.

Weak. Pretty weak.

What ****ing timeline are we on, now? Oh wait, let me guess, he's the "old" hope.

Does the sith edition make the 1st game worth the buy btw? =O

I'd say so, if you're a fan of Star Wars, the gameplay is pretty fun though it does get a bit repetitve. What'll keep you playing is the story because it's a fantastic story. The sith edition you get all the dlc which is some pretty sweet dlc set in Tattoine and Hoth. If you haven't played it and you're a fan. I'd say its worth the purchase or at least a rent.
