Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II

Witwer swinging a lightsaber around would actually be pretty awesome.

Didnt Sam Witwer say he wanted to be part of the live action Star Wars TV show they are working on? Maybe he could pop up in that.

It's on his twitter.
"After seeing Avatar, I predict Star Wars Episode VII featuring all the original characters will be announced before 2015."
"Because MoCap tech will eventually be able render physically naturalistic & photorealistic versions of any actor alive or dead."
"Whether it's a good idea or not, I have a feeling George will try."

Honestly....if he did Episode 7-8 and the original cast DID agree to come back (I want Harrison Ford, not some stupid sound alike) and the story was friggin good (have JJ Abrams help write...or Timmothy Zhan) I'd be all for it.

The thing is if you get too realistic then it would be too easy. Such as killing someone with one hit. It would be realistic but too easy to be enjoyable.

I see what your saying, but then you just up the amount of enemies that come at you, give them built in shields like some of the shock troopers in the first game. I mean yeah regular troops are fodder but you could just up the AI with them.

I would agree with that I'ved played Jedi Academy with a mod that allowed me to cut guys up from limb to limb. Boss battles became very quick either way cause one mistake its your head , a leg, or arm would get sabered off. There was no blood cause wounds would be cut clean off still burning hot while the head slid off the kneck. It was really cool to look at but incredibly frustrating at the same time.

That would be a great aspect to the game! Having to have have such control over your movements that you have to be careful or you will cut yourself. Make that an ability you upgrade like 3 times for mastery.

Jedi Outcast/Academy did it and it worked fine.

Interesting news. I wonder what the story will be and I wonder how Starkiller is even alive. As someone said earlier, maybe Vader lied. I liked the first game, though it was repetitive and pulling down the Star Destroyer was frustrating as hell.

I just rewatched the trailer. Man, the graphics look AMAZING! I know they won't look like that in-game, but I hope the cut scenes look that.

I'm not exactly thrilled for it... but of course I'll preorder and get it the first day.

I might pre-order it, depending on what cool stuff they have in-store for the pre-orders.

I'm very excited. I know the first one wasn't the best, but I really enjoyed it. I'm really interested to see what happens in the story and to see how they'll improve the gameplay, which I'm sure they will.

I just hope the guy that e-mailed Kotaku.com about the trailer, before it aired, is right and we get multiplayer for the 360 and PS3 versions this time. I'm guessing we'll start getting more info in January.

EDIT: This is a little old, but it hasn't been posted here, so...
LucasArts president Darrell Rodriguez told Joystiq, "Our internal team here in San Francisco will be focused on the game in addition to other development partners. The San Francisco team is made up of TFU veterans who are all bringing their hard earned muscle memory to the development process." Rodriguez didn't elaborate on who these "development partners" are, but it's clear that a core team at the company's Northern California HQ is only part of the development effort.

Rodriguez did not remark on whether any new staff is being hired to work on the title internally, but did reveal to us that LucasArts is "also currently hiring for some other unannounced products that we are internally developing as well."

Joystiq.com

I wonder who those other development partners are. As for those unannounced products they're hiring for...We know that at least one of them is another Star Wars game. I was thinking that they might be developing Battlefront III. I know 1 and 2 were made by Pandemic and 3 was being developed by Free Radical, but since FR close, they haven't announced anything. It's not that weird to think they took the assets from FR and continued working on the game internally. It's probably another game though.

That would be Awesome it would be like jedi outcast.:woot:

Man, I'd love an updated version of Jedi Outcast's multiplayer. I'd buy whatever game it was just for that.

Christ, I hope that other game is BF3. BF3 will sell like hotcakes, every SW fan who's a gamer wants another one.

TFU2 + BF3= Big, big, BIG money Lucasarts. You're half way there already!

BF3 would be awesome. Things have changed so much since BF2.

Lucasarts should just give the Battlefront license to DICE.

I haven’t had the chance to read the entire thread, so forgive me if this has been addressed. But my idea for the reason Starkiller is still alive goes back to a fanfic I wrote after the first game came out.

When Vader impaled Starkiller in front of the Emperor, my fanfic story was that Vader actually cloned Starkiller. The cloned Starkiller went on to continue the game and die, while the real Starkiller was now changed and seeking revenge for those who betrayed him. Vader. My story had Starkiller as neither Sith nor Jedi, simply a force user who was pissed off with his master. He had no intention of becoming a Sith Lord and didn’t want to fight against the dark side.

Anyway, that was something I wrote and an idea for how Starkiller could be in the next game.

I don't really see how TFU-gameplay can lead to Jedi Academy-style multiplayer. The multiplayer will likely be something substantially different.

If they finally do get BFIII going, I can only imagine what it will become. The scope that we could be talking about is beyond epic. I personally think it'd be interesting to go Old Republic era, and have Jedi and Mandalorian factions.

Does anyone know why the Ultimate Sith edition is unavailable absolutely everywhere? Was it only a limited release or something?

OH!!! I like that. I read the novel, and it said that his skin felt synthetic to him, probably because it needed to be replaced because it was damaged from being in space. Maybe it was because he was cloned instead...
