Well look on the bright side, you aren't going to play the game so you don't have to look at the character and the way he holds his weapon or worry about getting confused as to which Jedi is which.

That is not as fun as it sounds because you mow through everybody. If you ever play Jedi Academy you know what I'm talking there was a mod for realistic lightsabers. Its not as bad when you going up against dark Jedi but since this is era where the Jedi are nearly instinct it would be too much fun.

It seems that when you hit a storm trooper with it its a one-hitter-quitter anyway (as it should be) why not take off the body parts you slash through? To your latter point, I'm sure they can design Jedi AI for a computer controlled player to defend itself.

From what I understand from the producer interviews about the game. The more you upgrade your lightsaber the more heads will roll so to speak.

They still have him holding the lightsaber in that stupid way? Ugh. It's not even remotely cool.

I believe the reason he holds it that way is because that particular stance emphasizes speed. Which is why Ahsoka in the Clone Wars uses this stance.

You know I never thought about that aspect for speed. I thought it was some kind of an assassin style where they would try to hide the blade til it was too late to do anything.
