That spin off was awesome. Saw it years before I saw the actual movie. then when 98 wasnt like the cartoon i was so pissed. lol. their mecha godzilla was freaky.

I think that picture might actually be Dr. Takiguchi's personal watchdog kaiju from when Beast & Archangel recruited him to the X-Men's science team (Takiguchi being a character from Marvel's old Godzilla comics that Marvel technically owns).

As for Godzilla itself, it's alright. I've always enjoyed the concept of Godzilla more than any movie I've ever seen of it. The old movies have a kitsch-ish charm, but that's about all the joy I get out of the character.

Godzilla in the Marvel U. is one of those odd little occurrences of Comic Books. Like with Conan and the Hyborian Age being added and then taken away, but characters like Selene, the Black Queen being retrofitted for the later Marvel U. With Godzilla he always gets brought up from time, seeing as how the Avengers and SHIELD, even the FF were on his tail back in the day. But they can never really say it. Oh well. Still, I am a fan of the old heroic Godzilla films, since they were what I grew up on. I like the original Gojira movie quite a bit, even though of course the tone is different to what came later. If I am honest this recent American Godzilla film is the only "modern" Godzilla film I have found in the least entertaining. The post 1984 Toho films in general feel absurdly self serious and actually quite boring to me. But, potato, potat-O.

You should watch G vs Destroyah. It's one of my favorites, it's got decent acting, a great soundtrack, Godzilla is going to explode as he's dying and is just a good movie all around.

Toad is meh. I honestly can't think of anything they've every had him do that was impressive than the menial crap they have him do. I liked it when he was working at the school then at the Hellfire school but besides that he's fairly forgettable.

Dumb power theme, awful design(s) no development to speak of after how many years? He was at his most interesting in the xmen evolution cartoon, and even then he was annoying. He was at his most badass in the xmen movies, but to me that scene is at the expense of 3 fan favorite character so as a kid it drove me nuts watching him knock Cyc down for the count in one hit.

I rate him as one of my least favorite villains, who only ever gets included out of writers respect for the original xmen run.

He barely even registers with me. He's kind of a space filler with nothing going for him. I can't even blame his powers, because there was a student named Anole with the same powers in New/Young X-Men who was at least halfway interesting.

eh...Mostly SUCKS! and like people have said his only use is as filler space and cannon fodder for Magneto.the coolest he ever was, was in that Xmen flick and even that couldnt erase years of this

eh, not really. even in the film he was my least favorite. he just was taken more serious then before, and had the best stunts. he was more ray park with powers and less a character.

Somebody did something with him. I seem to recall him leading a decent version of the Brotherhood. Don't really remember when, you'd have to ask an X-Fan.

As far as my opinion of him....eh. He okay.

There was a story of him actually being a mastermind type I think in a crossover story between X-Force and New Warriors back in the day but I don't think it was ever brought up again.

I remember he went after the Scarlet Witch in a giant robot once because he still had the hots for her but when he found out she was pregnant he just said **** that and left.
