PRINCESS STUPIDLY CONNECTED TO THE X-MEN THROUGH ONE OF THE DUMBEST LOVE STORIES EVER.

-Well, I guess we all know your opinion on Lilandra, Spider.

-Personally, I like her. It's quite irritating that Fox seems to be deadset on using any of the Shi'ar in their X-Men films.

I'm not overly interested in the relationship but I love having the Lilandra & The Shi'ar connected to the X-Men. She's a good supporting character to me to the X-men network.

That's my thought on her connection, and my joy of her not being used in the X-Men movies.

She's fine as a character, but darn, that connection is done in such a lame way.

I agree with you spider and would go ha one further though and say I'd prefer the x-men not have space adventures. They always seemed I'll fit for that to me. It'd be like Spidey on space adventures, just ain't right.

Not a fan of the space so not a fan of the Lilandra. I would have to agree that the love story was stupid. You can't sustain a relationship that long distance.

Lilandra was fine. I had no problem with her. The problem I had was that Xavier didn't stay in space with her.

She okay. Wish the Shi'Ar spent more time fighting the Avengers or Guardians though.

I like Lilandra, not a fan of the love story. X-men in space stories for me are hit and miss, with it missing more often than not. I have no problem with Fox not bringing in the Shi'ar or them never going to space.

Eh for being a feather headed bird chick she's okay! I would get with her and it would only cost you some bird seed! Hehe
Xmen in space never really bothered me since cykes dad is a cool ass space pirate! Other than freakin a s@&%load of mutants living in the sewer! ( those turtles called dibs first!) what bothered me more was the goblin queen /jean clone thing! I hate CLONES!!

The Evil Queen Pulsating, Bloated, Festering, Sweaty, Pus-filled, Malformed, Slug-for-a-Butt
:funny:
I also did that with Jean Grey.

Oh God, that story with Lilandra's brother wanting Cyclops's mom....

I don't mind her. The psychic soul mate love story 'we can never be together' thing was annoying as ****. You run an empire, you can make a transgalactic booty call if you want. Loved that they got the Imperial Guard with it as I love that group, especially Gladiator.

I liked how every time something bad happened with them coming to Earth over Phoenix or whatever, she'd always have the hologram show up and Chuck would just be like "Really? You can't ever just show up and make a nude skype call or something? You always gotta be trying to murder someone I know? Why can't you ever show up and make it happy fun times???"

She was dumb as bricks sometimes though, she'd be overthrown by her sister or something AGAIN and she'd do nothing but boot them to some out of the way place until they got it together to do it again then the X-Men would show up and wreck **** until everyone surrendered.

All in all I don't care how helpful the X-Men or Avengers were at one time or another, Earth has caused so much trouble and stirred up so much **** and destroyed reality multiple times that she should have gotten together with the other empires and just blown up the solar system or something. Even just doing it on her own with the Guard making the sun go supernova would have done it.

All in all, love the empire but she's an idiot.

Someone's got a summer home in the Shi'ar Imperium.

Do you have any idea what the travel expenses are to get there? They're astronomical!

*teehee*

I want to say you're better than that joke... I WANT to say that... But I can't.

^ Jessica Drew, not Julia Carpenter, I assume? I like the fact that she rose above her extremely superficial reasons for existing (Marvel didn't want DC to steal the character name). DC is famous for female characters that are just sidekicks of the male character. I like how Spiderwoman is not that at all. She's 100% her own thing. That's pretty cool.

The only reason I can't fault it is that Chris Claremont is the X-Men in my opinion and the X-Men in space are from him. The comic is very much a science fiction comic and he explored that in a variety of ways. I completely understand that it doesn't fit the tone the movies are going for and I totally understand them not wanting them there (although I'll note that this is a whole side of the Marvel universe that will never be seen on screen), but I have no problem with it existing. The X-Men universe is big enough to be fantastical.

I love Jessica Drew. I appreciate that Bendis tried to use her in a bigger role but they really botched the hell out of it.

Dig spider woodman not too much at the beginning but the whole sci- fi thing with the high evolutionary and stuff made me dig her. The whole hydra nick fury stuff was cool too. It really set her apart from that other guy who shares her arachnid name! Now what was his name again! She's cool!

I like Jessica, she has a crazy and convoluted history even by MU standards. I think everyone but her appreciates the costume though. :p

I also like her UU counterpart, the opposite-sex clone of Peter.
