the fights, the Avengers are trying to out-funny each other and the villains are busy playing Angry Birds and making pop culture references instead of taking the situation at hand seriously,

is why we could never be on a Super-team together wolfie! i would be crackin jokes about Mephisto's loin cloth or challenging him to a dance off and you would be yelling at me to be serious!!.... when really don't you know it's a "distraction" for you to beat the ^&*( outta him... there's was a movie i just saw with that!! now what was it again!?!

I like the effort. This, the true 1st Captain America, and the true 1st Punisher movie make an interesting trifecta of failure.

Personally, I like it. It's cheesy, terrible and fairly insane but the Thing costume is pretty cool, Doctor Doom is actually like he's supposed to be and they actually try to put some soul into the movie through the characters. If it had been given a decent budget, actors and support it actually could have been great.

Totally agree! all the flick were lacking and you hit it on the head KG was " soul!" this is the only FF flick to have it and you are right if the flick would have a decent budget, better actors and effects (that animation with the torch was so cheesy!) it would have been AWESOME! i totally agree too that the Thing outfit was cool! the only part that made me cringe is Mister fantastic waving goodbye after him and sue gets married. looked like someone put a giant hand on a stick!
like Reb Brown's Captain America, Lou Ferrigio's HULK and 70's Doctor Strange all these flicks will forever have a special place in my heart! Corman's FF I LIKEY!!

Okay... I'll be that guy (a guy who was working at a comic book shop when Corman's FF was being worked on and kinda liked the BTS stuff we saw in like Starlog ect.) but really? If only this film had better actors, dialog, SFX, direction ect. it would be a better movie. Well... Yeah. That's kind of like saying, "if only this sandwich wasn't made with stale bread, rotten meat and moldy cheese... It would be an edible sandwich."

...but then later on in life you are like that sandwich was NASTY!!, but it kept my stomach from growling back then! haha
