Had this thought: Captain Ultra is a D-list super-hero by night (or villain if he's down on his luck) and stand-up comedian Griffin Gogol by day. If he hasn't already, Griff should go public with his super-hero identity and his entire stand-up set would be all about his super-hero exploits: all the fights he's lost, all the Z-level super-villains he's beat up, his run-ins with big-time super-heroes where he embarrassed himself, that kind of thing. Perfect niche.

Smythe was interesting in the 90's cartoon but I never really followed him much in the comics.

None of us would be talking about Smythe if the cartoon wasn't produced so soon after he'd appeared in the comics.

I only ever saw Smythe in that one "Invasion of the Spider-Slayers" story. I never saw him appear after that, but he was a big secondary villain on the cartoon for years.

I love the guy. No matter what happens he just refuses to give a ****. He just laughs and carries on having a great time no matter how much he gets hurt or dismembered. Even just before he was finally killed off he was just so happy he had such great fights.

He happened. He hardly shows up. Outside that one appearance where he has a freaking big booby body, there is nothing memorable about him.

Well he did have a few fights with Frank including two with that body. The first one was put into the Jane/Travolta movie. Personally I'd love to see them try to put the rest of the fights in a movie.

I only really know her from the Atlantis Attacks event they had way back. Besides being the 'take over the world' villain there I don't know much.

that chick is BAD NEWS!!! if i remember right or wrong ( i am old so sue me! hehe) she had Kidnapped some blue chick namor really dug and brought her up on land and chick slowly suffocated cause she couldn't breathe cause namor couldn't save her in time!! that was Mess the HELL UP!! but then i think Marvel was like well no chick could be a real regular bad ass supervillain and they forgot all that!! but i liked that chick! she could have been a contender as a real Namor rogue!

I believe that would be Andromeda, who also happens to be the daughter of Namor's arch-nemesis Attuma. Since we're stating opinions, Andromeda's got enough going on that they could make her a more prominent player in the Marvel Universe if they felt like it. And she should have been on the cover of Marvel Illuminati #4.

i looked it up Dawn. cause i wanted to know if i was going senile( thats what happen when you get older...that and too much tequila!) it was "Lady Dorma!" Namor's main squeeze back in the day that she killed! that was MESSED UP!

as for that fantastic 4 flick!
i dint think it was that bad! sure there was stuff wrong with it Doom, blue contact lenses which kinda made hot ass Jessica look kinda creepy!! But Torch and Thing was right on! i dont think it was that bad.

Both Story FF films are... they are both "sigh" inducing and kinda boring really to me. I agree with Vulcan that they do right by Johnny and Ben, they are the best parts of the film, but... Yeah everything else is TERRIBLE. Doom, Reed and Susan are totally miscast and the story is so bland and uninteresting.
