State Your Opinion on a Character!!!! (Reboot)

I loved it when I was a kid. Watching as an adult with my fully formed brain, it sucks....but then again that could be said for most things.

I love my memories of when I thought it was good I guess is what I mean.

actually spider my man the black knight of that show was the black knight in comics. Dane Whitman's ancestor who possessed the ebony blade cursed by Morgan Le Fey was a straight up dickweed and a bad guy.(the dude in the show!) Dane decided when the blade was handed down to him to along with dude's horse to right all the wrongs his %^&head ancestor did and become a good guy. the blade is constantly making that dude want to do bad $%^^& and he has to fight it influences which is why that dude is COOL! :cwink:
So like many characters in adaptions, this is a merger of some versions of the character?
I thought he's different

Never saw the show far as I remember but it did introduce Firestar so I like it.

This show was like a revelation to me as a kid. I had seen the 60's show, broadcast on local tv in NYC, but this opened up the Marvel U in new ways for me. My brother who was a die hard Marvel guy gave me the backstory on all the guest stars, and it blew my mind. As a kid I was scared of some of the guest villains like Magneto and Doom. Yeah, looking back now, it is what it was. A kids show. GLORIOUSLY SO.

MOVIE WOLVERINE

Actually getting to know Hugh Jackman at my job might disqualify my opinion, but I love movie Logan. Now if only the supporting cast, dialogue and films around him were as good. Also, as much as I like him, he should not have been the focus of the FOX X-Men films. Stan Lee for years said that they should do a Wolverine solo film and at the end have him join the X-Men. I think that would have been a better call. They'd have gotten all the Logan centric stuff out of their systems and then we could've gotten a more accurate Scott and Jean. Cest La Vie.

Just think, if Mission Impossible 2's shooting didn't run late, Hugh Jackman wouldn't be the mega star he is today.

I just don't like that he took over every single X-Men movie but FC and he's doing that in the sequel. Every single thing was always about him with little time for any other character to grow and it got boring. Then they killed off Cyclops so he could have more screentime with Jean. Bah. I'd like to see a few movies without him.

I like the movie version of Wolverine, kinda like him more than I like the comics version

I like him, I just wish the character development and screen time was spread out a little more.

Because Dougray Scott was already cast as Wolverine but MI2's shooting ran late so he had to pull out of X-Men. They cast Jackman instead who was virtually unknown outside of Australia.
They did us a favor

i had to read that right to make sure, at 1st i thought this was just Wolverine and then DOHHHHH i got it.

this is a strange one cause i $%^&&*hate WOLVERINE!! In any and all incarnations! that whole implanted memories, showing up guest starring in SUPER-PRO( Thanks MARVEL!way to milk that %^) probably had something to do with it! I got tired of that dude's "best at what he does" schtick a long time ago.....but HUGH IS THE BOMB! that dude is cool i freaking love "Les Miserables" ( what can i say i like the classics!)so $%^ Wolverine but I :hrt: Hugh! hehe

His performances have been fine even though a couple of the movies (X3 and Origins) were lousy.

Hugh's performance is fantastic. But I don't like how the movies were handled or how they've influenced the comics.

The reason for one of the best DD runs ever. Don't like what Miller had happen to her after having read earlier issues with her in them but he always has to have his things about women in comics. I thought she was a good match to Matt.

She was a great supporting character for many years and was always used well as a catalyst, by Miller, Nocenti, Kesel and Smith.

I liked her more when she was an actress with a good career, away from Matt

I bet you liked her more as an 'actress'. :argh:

Before taking porn roles
Yeah, I prefered her staying away

I don't know if I've ever read a thing with her in it. Was she the one who died in Smith's run? I so, then I read that but have no real memory of it. That was long before I started reading Daredevil.

The woman dying in a church by Bullseye tossing DareDevil's billy club in her chest?
If that's the one, then yes
