State Your Opinion on a Character!!!! (Reboot)

The good that came from them not being detached (vampires in general) is him being playable in Marvel Ultimate Alliance and LEGO Marvel

Man! freaking love Blade! (though not a top level guy with me) all i remember was that dude with the green coat and wooden stakes showing up for a few pages in the "tomb of dracula" now and then and that was it. then outta no where they made a fim of him( that 1st flick is still the %^!). i can see him being able to slide between some regular characters and the supernatural! i mean if you got Morbius hanging with Spiderman i can see Blade, but not with the XMen!THE Freaking XMen hang out with everybody( thats what happens when you make money!( but those guys needs to be their own entity anways! lousy money making Mutants!:cwink:
Blade is awesome!

Blade.....I agree. The more detached, the better. They tried to involve him with the X-Men and it went horribly wrong.

Agreed.

The various solo Blade comics post Blade movies failed because Marvel had him teaming up with Spider-Man or travelling though time for Doctor Doom when he should of teamed up with his fellow Nightstalker/Midnight Sons characters and faced some of Marvels supernatural big bad guys.

The early 90's were a pretty great time for Marvels supernatural characters with the likes of Ghost Rider, Morbius, Blade, Darkhold Redeemers and so on having comics which drew together in the midnight sons.

I really which Marvel would bring back their supernatural tied comics like DC is doing with the dark line stuff.

Man Thing: I'd be happier if I never saw him in another comic.

Blade: I like him as a detached character. Anytime I see anything vampire related in marvel comics they seem very out of place to me. Bugs me any time I see Jubilee now because of the stupid vampire thing.

I was just about to mention her. Why hasn't he killed her yet?

Wolverine won't let him because Wolverine will kill anyone and anything just because he wants to but he won't let anyone else kill anything because he's psycho like that.

I like Blade as a character but when they have him in anyone elses book, like the Vampires in Utopia storyline, he just feels out of place. I loved the movies and him being playable in the first Ultimate Alliance game, he was one of the better characters and you got him in one of those crane games in Murderworld which was awesome. I'd love to see another Bade movie though, Snipes or not, just don't make it another Trinity. The more like Blade II the better.

Never had bothered much with Blade up until the recent movies, he's an alright character.

SUB-ZERO (ICEMAN)

Bobby's a good kid, but honestly, and please tell me if things have changed since his original X-Factor days, he's just a variation on Johnny Storm in many ways to me. Again, if things changed in the very long period since I regularly read anything with him in it, please let me know. Oh... Also, I prefer him with a reasonable level of power, none of this OMEGA LEVEL nonsense, or being able to actually become ice as opposed to creating it out of the moisture in the air. Ashmore was actually pretty good in the Singer films. One of my favorite characters, and the moment he takes out Pyro was ALMOST worth the price of admission.

Whenever I think Iceman, I think of the Spider-Man & his Amazing Friends version voiced by Frank Welker

I don't mind this character too much.

Yep, that's the only time I really bought a wide range of comics in the supernatural line. Definitely enjoyed them back then.

The Omega level stuff can be a bit much but I really like his ability to change into ice. Along with Colossus' metal skin transformation and Nightcrawler's bamfing and Beast's natural look you have some of the most exotic looking X-Men and I would love a film shot one day of them all responding to danger and transforming, bamfing, Beast just doing his thing at the same time.

Yep, great memories.

I took the image from Bob's 616 profile in Marvel Wikia

I was thrown off by the name Sub Zero. I've never heard of Bobby referred to by that name. I thought maybe it was some alternate version I was unaware of.

The Mortal Kombat character is cool too lol.

^Nice one :)

His arm is covered in ice, just like the younger Sub-Zero in the Playstation 2 Mortal Kombat games
That's why I named him that way

Iceman is cool!! (pun intedend! hehe) again one of those Non- B&*()ing about having powers characters i like! a guy who enjoyed having powers!! Man! unless it was Rogue are a few certain others... that "these powers are a curse stuff" got on my nerves!!Bobby loves having powers and being a mutant and i like that!Plus that making slides outta the moisture in the air has to be the coolest way to get around ( you know people must be pissed off at him trying to get to work though)!! i freaking love it and Him!

Blades okay. I'm not in love with the character or anything, but I dig him.

Iceman, eh. I don't care much for the X-Men in general, but I dig Bobby.

I've always liked Bobby Drake aka Iceman, one of my favorites from the X-Men.
