i dig Tress! she's a 7 on the rocktor scale. one of those bad girls who use her feminine charm to get what she wants( a bit too real -life villainy if you ask me which makes her great!)like Moral said being she's a match for Thor. She could easily wipe the floor up with earth's superheroes. There aint too many female villains on the level!

Enchantress is great, I really liked her relationship with the 'cutioner too.

Backing up to Kallark....I love that guy and still would like to see more characterization.

He's the kind of guy that some sort of "gamble" with his character might be due...like a slot on the Avengers or Defenders?


Gladiator on the defenders anyone?

I like Enchantress both as a villain and just as a character. Loved her relationship with the Executioner and also her relationship with Heimdall after his death, I felt it gave her character more depth and humanity.

Hear hear! The X-Men's worst stuff (generally) is when they're in space. They aren't meant to be space roaming characters.

I like the Starjammers. While I do agree that the X-Men don't really belong in space, the Starjammers are pretty good when used in other areas of the Marvel U. I've read a couple of good appearances in other titles like the Avengers and such.

they get a 3 on the suckometer!i too concur that I didnt dig the Xmen in space (thats like luke cage in freakin space!) They only thing cool that ever came from them in space was gladiator and the imperial guard. it also the reason i am devoting half a day to them ( there's some other cosmic guys i want to do ,but get back to an all time fav) so cause of that.....

next up... "He Loves you!".. only he shouldn't be giving candy out in his car at the school bus stop!

THE SKRULLS

They're cool as characters, but I have always had mixed feelings about Corsair being Cyclops father. As with most things X-Men, everything past Uncanny #138 I personally disregard.

The Skrulls, on the other hand, kick all kinds of ass and are awesome.

Druid came back in Chaos War: Dead Avengers for a few minutes. But yeah, you're right.

its the exact opposite to me .i think the Super Skrull rocks and the rest of them suck! they are a 4 on the suckometer. for an alien race that has conquered alot of planets. allowing Reed Richards to erase your memory and turn you into cows! cows?!?( though it was awesome how they got grounded up into Hamburgers and *some dudes ate em! ) that's some Boo&^^%#! you come up with this brilliant plan to impersonate heroes and people and Norman Osbourne with a gun stops your plan?! Plus you decide to impersonate a hired killer with a band of dead zombies. Thats not very bright and other than the SS ( or maybe Lyja ) Boo! they blow!

Yeah, but that could be said about every Villain. Doom manages to steal the power of a Space God, and still manages to lose.

The Masters of Evil manage to take over Avengers Mansion, beat the snot outta Herc, burn Caps soul possessions, and still manage to lose.

That's kind of the point of being bad guys. You gotta be stupidier than the hero.

yeah, but Doom has his own country and it was always cool how he was "my bad", but "I CALL "DIPLOMATIC IMMUNITY!"
The MOE keep losing cause you know you cant have a bunch of bad guys working together( you see that play out in the mafia)... and neither of them let Reed turn them into cows!
those guys even gave their own dude the means with which to turn on them. They are lunkheads beyond lunkheads! the best bad guys are the ones who are so smart they fail to see the one thing that will trip their ass up. Norman Osbourne with a gun was bad... as in bad writing! Those guys are pathetic!

Well, actually, Nick Fury hired Deadpool to infiltrate the Skrulls and steal the means by which they could kill the Skrull Queen. He did, but Osborne intercepted the transmission, made a gun, and killed the b***h on national tv to get a get out of being known for being a crazy, murdering, d-bag card.

That said, bad writing can hardly be blamed on the characters. They lost, but you know, they still have an intergalactic empire.....which kinda trumps a cabbage fart smelling country in the infected belly button of Europe.

okay i was going to cut em some slack ,but you are right they are just "bad characters" to begin with! come on. they are basically "little green men" from the "war of the world's" days... and see that's true evil! Doom walks around with blue jeans ,not giving em out to the peasants who wish to be more like Americans! that's true evil! ... and they lost their empire!Skrulls suck!

The Skrulls are awesome. I loved Secret Invasion and like characters who are Skrull. Veranke, Super Skrull, Hulkling, Xavin, Lyja, Ethan Edwards, Paibok... I find them all interesting.
