Odins a 8.5 on the rocktor scale. Him and Thor's relationship is one of the greatest if not the greatest in literary fiction!He obviously loves Thor, but his parenting skillls leave something to be desired. He's tried unraveling thor's love for the mortal jane foster, has allowed Loki to try and destroy him and even changed him into a frail mortal to learn humility!( damn dude cant you just ground my ass or something !thats harsh!).I am sure he sees this as making Thor better but he as most kings fail to realize.Thor's compassion is what already makes him great.. its a lesson that Odin himself needs to learn sometimes!

Don't mind him when he shows up in most stories/titles. For some reason I wish he was still a teency bit more menacing and diabolical, since IMO he should be one of the top tier 'evil' guys in the MU. But, that nitpicking aside, I don't mind him...I've always dug the name too.

I think it's already been said but Meph is great so long as he's not used as a device to destroy marriages. Gillen has used him best recently in his Thor/JiM runs.
