State Your Opinion on a Marvel Character

The problem with them is they unlike the Six lack versatility. They all literally have the same power from the same power source. Strong, super durable but that's it.

True, but it doesn't mean that they have to automatically get their ass beat and thrown in jail everytime. They should be feared on reputation and that no one can lock them down. People should be sh***ing a brick when they hear the Wrecking Crew is coming to town.

Nah, too one dimensional. They attack in one way with one strength. They're only effective if someone like Zemo is directing them. You always know where you stand with them and what they're going to do.

Now look at a group like the Six. While you have direct threats like rhino, you also have people that can infiltrate or cause havoc like electro or sandman. Then you've got people like chameleon or mysterio which means anyone around you might actually be waiting to kill you when you turn around. That's a threat that's hard to prepare for or deal with.

Unfortunately Moon Knight is yet another wasted character. I really wanted to like the Bendis run, but I couldn't take it. Ironically the Moon Knight reference in the Blade tv series sort of ties them together as supernatural Marvel heroes that aren't being used to well. I'd buy a new Midnight Sons style team up with both of them in a heartbeat.

And Werewolf by Night, Man-Thing etc... There's a whole supernatural side of the Marvel universe that hasn't been explored properly and could be really good in the right hands if someone came in with a good uniform view as to how to handle them.

DC has re-discovered the damn good properties they hold in Animal Man and Swamp Thing and by putting some good writers on their titles they've become their two crowning jewels in the new 52... it makes Marvel's efforts with their own guys stand out as even more piss-poor in comparison.

As a textbook example of B-level villains, I don't mind the 'crew. While I don't think they should be looked at as a major, major threat each and every time they show up, it would be nice to see them pummel a hero(s) that didn't bring their 'A' game and took them lightly....


Back to Blade - was pretty 'meh' on him back in his first appearances, and I really liked a lot of Marvel's supernatural comics around that time too. But, like a lot of folks, I looooved the movie version of him and wish that they could get some of those qualities goin' on in the comic version...maybe one day.

They fight everybody and their mamas!Defenders,Avengers,Thors,Hulks, Spidermans you name it they fight it! Unlike the sinster six who go only after spidey ,they pick on everybody!they might get beat but,they don't care!which gives em a 7 on the rocktor scale.

Dude the Six have fought the FF, hulk, spider-man, ghost rider, sleep walker and a bunch of other people all at the same time, while having sandman also trying to kill them and still almost took over the world. Actually the six have almost taken over the world twice now and going for a third. Plus they just beat the hell out of the AA, tricked reed richards, and killed most of the intelligencia while the wrecking crew got embarrassed by the runaways.

Hulk got his ass kicked good and proper. Vulture's only been in some incarnations, but he's actually more versatile than the crew.

Still they have the powers of an asgardian, but just one split up between them. They can hurt thor sure but they aren't on his level really. But you're right, they are stupid, even their smart member doesn't really think things through and that's why they aren't a legit threat. Same powers between them, lack of critical thinking they're basically superpowered lackeys, which have a purpose but not as a serious threat unless they're lead by someone like Zemo.

The goblin? He's never been part of the six. Look at what each team has actually done and who they've actually beat or been beaten by and you can see the difference.
