I hate that they just went away from Monica. Stern really put in a lot of work on her, and he did it well. After that they just ignored all that and put her in limbo for no good reason when they could have at least had her go cosmic with her powers.

Nighthawk in Supreme Power was cool as hell. He was like the modern day Nat Turner with superhero gear. I love in the mini vs. Hyperion were he surprised him with his new power. I was hoping he would be in the latest Supreme Power series, but I guess not.

I'm kinda middle-ground on D-Lok. I've always liked the concept behind him, but always thought the presentation of him was a little lacking. Maybe there is a series/story out there that could persuade me to dig into the character a little more, but right now I'm pretty much on the fence with him....

Serious misuse of the character. With all the zombie love around why the hell not have him just primarily dealing with zombies and vampires? Seems like a natural fit and would be a fun read. Zombies unlike vampires don't really have superhero opponents.

Depends on how you define zombies and what zombies are in the MU. Slow movers like on most movies sure. But this is the MU so I don't see why say demonic possession of the undead or something like that couldn't be something to utilize.

If his mission was to say go around the world and wipe out the undead in whatever form they had I could see that as being something I would read. Especially if he dealt with each area's concepts and spiritual beings.

Zombies by definition are mindless. Hard to really justify them as a threat outside of a zombie apocalypse or as foot soldiers for a necromancer.

First off there's no real zombie definition in that way. They are defined by however that storyteller decides. They're an actual product of fiction not based on anything similar. Secondly I would say the only thing zombies have to be is undead. As such you could argue any possessed doll, animated corpse or displaced soul/demon in anything could fall under the category.

You're just seeing them in one way which is reinforced by most movies, but there are some ideas of "smart" zombies or other things. You take something like solomon grundy or digger which are most certainly somewhat intelligent, superpowered and zombies and you have some things already established. All I'm saying is when you have something that's pretty broad it's ok to play with the concept a bit. But you're probably just gonna give me something about how zombies have to be one thing and just be a buzz kill.
