Horror Stephen King's "IT" Part I and Part II

It's a very small role in the book but an important one for the return of Pennywise.

It'll also be the first time that character will be seen on screen since he was cut from the TV version.

Glad they have cast Adrian Mellon. His scenes were among the most disturbing in the book.

Yeah I'm very excited to see that part translated into film.
His death always creeped me out, the way he laid there helplessly and Pennywise bit into his freakin' ARMPIT! *shudders*

So excited about Mellon's inclusion.
His scene could be a great way to start the movie.
Curious to see when they'll put Stanley's scene as well.

I've seen someone on reddit actually saying he'd prefer Stan
to make it back to Derry (albeit not for a long time),
but I also would really love if they chose to use the IT writing
he does on the bathroom wall as main title,
with the "Chapter Two" title card appearing over it.

I've also attached a link to a short fan teaser trailer I edited
using deleted Chapter One scenes and some more material.
Hope you'll like it. Here it is:

To a moderator: Plase change the title of the thread. Something like
Stephen King's "IT" Part I and II

Title changed.

‘It: Chapter 2’: Teach Grant to Play Adult Henry Bowers
https://variety.com/2018/film/news/it-chapter-2-teach-grant-adult-henry-bowers-1202856265/

Teach Grant and Jess Weixler are set to join New Line’s “It: Chapter Two,” sources tell Variety.

Grant will play bully Henry Bowers, who was portrayed by Nicholas Hamilton in the first movie, and Weixler will play Bill’s wife.

Grant is a Canadian actor whose list of credits includes heavily recurring arcs in USA’s “Damnation” and, most recently, Netflix’s highest-budgeted series, “Altered Carbon.”

Hmmm so Bowers survived his fall. Interesting. That has to be it. Pennywise wouldn't make the Losers hallucinate an adult Henry Bowers. They wouldn't know who it was.

Bowers had to survive. He has a very important role in the adults part of the story.

So that's our cast.

I imagine we'll see a flashback of Bowers surviving the fall and getting arrested since I think the murders were pinned on him in the book.

Awesome that Henry Bowers and Audra have been cast. They couldn't leave Henry out, he's really important in the adult half of the book.

I wonder if they'll leave in the scene where Pennywise taunts Audra in her hotel room, for some reason that part of the book always really freaks me out. Imagine being in a strange place (and not fully understanding why you're there) and being tormented by weird balloons and creepy voices, lights going on and off and doors opening and closing... And then when she runs out and sees the fingers coming under the door from the other side... *shudder*

I'm pretty sure this will be in, I mean if they are doing
Adrian
scene clearly they'll have no mercy :)

He is, and at least with him being alive that means there wouldn't be a plot hole involving Mike having murdered Henry.

Kinda thought Bowers would be played by someone a bit more recognizable, but I'm hardly complaining about that resemblance.

There was actually a deleted scene from the test screenings in which Bowers washed out and was picked up by police. Maybe they'll use it for Part 2 or else it will be in the director's cut of Part 1

I think I read about that too but I couldn't remember if it was an actual scene filmed for the movie or if I was just remembering it from the book since it wasn't included in the deleted scenes of Part 1.

Last character yet to be announced???.....

From Wikipedia,

Kay McCall...... Beverly Marsh's close friend, a divorcee and an affluent writer of feminist literature. Beverly turns to her when fleeing her husband Tom. She is brutally assaulted by Tom, who successfully extracts all she knows about his missing wife's whereabouts

If they intended Bowers to survive they shouldnt have done something as ridiculous as having him thrown down that deep well. Ffs, he bounced off the wall of the well and the bottom of the well wasnt even visible and it sounded like he fell a long ways. I dont think anyone would survive that. At the very least he should be a quadriplegic after that fall.

Correct me if I’m wrong but that scene wasn’t included in the theatrical edition? So then it was cut for a reason.

Yeah perhaps they shouldn't have made Bowers fall so very VERY nasty if they wanted to bring him back later, I agree with that.

I suppose that it's just one of the changes from the book that didn't really work (damseling Beverly being another one for example).

But hopefully they at least include the scene showing his survival in the next film.

Jess played Jessica’s sisters in Disappearande of Eleanor Rigby which also starred James. Awesome choice.

After the wonderful Part I, this is one of my post anticipated films.
