As talented as Cary Fukunaga is, I think it was best that he didn’t make the film he wanted to make. Having read the 2014 Fukunaga draft, it was a decent script, however, it was definitely a mixed bag. Yes, he made odd changes, such as changing names (a non-stuttering Bill became Willy and Henry became Travis) and the ending isn’t the best. Even just after Fukunaga had left the project, he stated that he felt his vision of “IT” would be most likely seen as a mixed bag.

That said, there was lots of good in his script and I’m pleased that Andres Muschietti used a big portion of the Fukunaga screenplay when script rewrites began. Heck, Fukunaga is getting a screenplay credit for the final film. Muschietti seems to be a big fan of Stephen King’s novel so I have faith his rewrites only made the Fukunaga screenplay better.

How was his Pennywise?

How fitting that this pic I took years ago would pop back up in my news feed after the poster was released!

If only that trailer was released at midnight. :csad:

I work night shift, so it won't be up for a good while I bet. :(

I just realized, in the teaser, we can hear Pennywise laugh, and what a laugh it is!

In 4 minutes.

Damn, was pranked by a fake youtube channel.

Yeah I'm assuming 12pm est since that's when the teaser for the trailer hit.

Well it's already 11:40 AM EST, and no trailer.

So 11:00 AM PST would mean 2:00 PM EST. Two hours to go.
