Stephen King's "IT" remake has found a writer - Part 2

Ben's my favorite probably after much internal deliberation.

He has a poetic soul kind of the way I did when I was that age.

Also, I liked how he had natural engineering instincts which I did not possess. Him building the dam at the Barrens was gangster as fck.

Dude just had a great heart. Besides Bill, who was a naturally inclined writer- albeit of a much different nature, I always felt Ben had the best sense of wonder and imagination.

Richie was the worst. I dunno if his brand of humor was chic back then, his dialogue read goofy or if King just flat out missed the mark but he got on my nerves. This is coming from somebody that likes to imitate accents and whatnot as well.

I would've pummeled Ritchie if he was my friend :funny: but Stan was always my least favorite.

I think young Ritchie was intended to be fairly insufferable in any era.

Fans of the #ITMovie teaser might want to check out the @MTVAwards this Sunday...

It seems early for another trailer. Maybe they're showing a scene? :hmm

Yeah I'm guessing it's a scene or clip

Maybe we'll hear Pennywise speak! Even if its just one line of dialogue at the end of the clip lol.

Well, I won't be sitting through the MTV Movie Awards so do your thing, internet!

This was in the new Dark Tower trailer;

I haven't finished the Dark Tower series yet but I always heard about the connections between Stephen King's books. Right now I think WB are probably glad that they ended up with IT.

What was the clip?

It was a scene involving some of the Losers prior meeting Ben:
they're Bill, Richie, Eds and Stan. People attending the panel said they're in the sewers speculating about who might be killing all the kids in Derry — then they find a shoe. In the Fukunaga drafts the shoe is Dorsey Corcoran's, in the movie it appears to be Betty Ripsom's. Eddie is freaked out by the dirty water, Bill wants to search further, Richie nervously cracks jokes… and suddenly Ben appears, all bloodied up, after being chased by the Bowers gang.
«Dread Central's Jonathan Barkan praised the scene, and stated, "The kids are clearly very adept at working off one another. There was a chemistry between the four that was wonderful to see and it’s obvious that Muschietti worked very hard to ensure they were believable." Eric Vespe of Ain't It Cool News remarked that "[...] this one scene shows us the key traits of the bulk of the members of the Losers Club within one sequence. I loved it for that reason."» (source: Wikipedia)

I like how that clip sounds. I can't wait to see it.

Pretty good. The dialogue between the kids does feel a little unnatural, like the writer wants them to be super witty.

I wonder if the triangle shaped supply of balloons can be spotted from space.

That was awesome. I know people are dying to hear Pennywise talk, but I love how they are keeping him pretty much under wraps, only giving us glimpses.
