moving on, having seen it a third time, i really do love[BLACKOUT]Bills speech to pennywise at the end, And pennywise's facial expressions, fear And confusion, then tries to smile to keep appearing unafraid, then cracks Again, And bill to me almost looked older during that scene, as if he was an adult] really good stuff.[/BLACKOUT]

Also when he sniffs Beverly to test her claim of not being afraid, then flinches away like the lack of fear is a repellent odor to him.

The movie created the conditions where a boy kissing an unconscious girl is celebrated and deemed romantic. That is a huge disconnect from society where women have a voice on the subject, where consent is central to romantic advances. Just because Bev wakes up from a kiss with a huge smile on her face doesn't make it ok, all it means is that the filmmakers think that is ok. And that's not even getting into how the movie shouldn't have taken Bev's agency away like that.

Yes that too, And when he [BLACKOUT] has that dumbfounded look on his face as he admits And says fear, which i took as him coming to accept he fir The first time feels it [/BLACKOUT]

They nailed that aspect of Pennywise.

Same here. And I think Bill's realization once and for all that...

...Georgie was dead was his transformation into an adult. He was holding on to whatever faint hope was left for all of those months, and Pennywise tried to use it and devour him with it. When Pennywise couldn't trick Bill by pretending to be Georgie anymore, it took his power over him. And when it was over, when Bill found George's raincoat and knew it was over, whatever was left of the child he was went away with his finally understanding that his brother was never coming back.

I liked how Pennywise was still trying to act big and scary, boasting that he’d eat them all, but clutching Bill like a hostage and trying to bargain. They saw through it at that point.

I saw it last night and have been reading up more info on the movie now that I don't have to avoid spoilers anymore. Hoping we see the deleted origin scene in the sequel or if not, on the home release. I absolutely love this from the IMDB trivia. I hope the studio listens to them.

The cast of the "Losers Club" were asked whom they wanted to play their adult parts: Finn Wolfhard (Richie Tozier) said Bill Hader, Sophia Lillis (Beverly Marsh) said Jessica Chastain, Chosen Jacobs (Mike Hanlon) said Chadwick Boseman, Jack Dylan Grazer (Eddie Kaspbrak) said Jake Gyllenhaal, Wyatt Oleff (Stanley Uris) said Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Jeremy Ray Taylor (Ben Hanscom) said Chris Pratt and Jaeden Lieberher (Bill Denbrough) said Christian Bale.

I don’t know if I see Jaeden Lieberher turning into Christian Bale but the rest sound pretty solid.

Richie's speech is my favorite part of the film. Summed up what was about to happen rather well.

That would be a stellar cast, but probably too expensive for the studio, even if Part 2 gets a bigger budget (and it will).

I'm picturing Corey Stoll as Bill, myself.

Exactly. If she had been sunbathing alone and the boys had been sneaking around trying to get a look at her, yeah, that would have been objectifying her and it would have been a problem. But in the scene they actually all just caught themselves in a moment, and it was kind of cute, and funny as an adult, because we all remember being that age.

Bev was the only one who didn't raise her hand to be a lookout at Neibolt Street. She was the one who stuck by Bill when the other kids wanted to run. And like you said, she got that first hit on Pennywise at the house. She was a tough kid, and strong character.

Couldn't agree more with this. The actress played her brilliantly as well. We have some great performances by kid actors/actresses this year.

I am wondering what happend to Victor And belch, i am assuming [BLACKOUT]Henry killed them, seeing as we dont see them anymore after Henry Gets his knife, And Henry has belchs car later [/BLACKOUT]

Hoping we see this in the director's cut. It did feel odd they just disappeared.

Mike did feel underdeveloped though. And I’m curious how they’re gonna do the part with Henry in part two.

[BLACKOUT]I think they've said there's a deleted scene with Henry killing them.[/BLACKOUT]

Yeah as good as The film was They did drop The ball with him, giving his history love to ben, And removing his strong bond with his dad means removing most of his character, i hoped theyd atleast have The grandfather have that Same bond with him, but They didnt see eye to eye at all.

Mike is odd, because while he was undeveloped, it didn't really feel like they left much out. Like what material they wrote for him was there.

I am hoping for a super natural switch up for Henry. Something involving Pennywise "bringing him back" or something.

1. She's not a woman.
2. Isn't she actually supposed to be younger?

Now I don't about your culture and world but when you're old enough to have your period, You're considered a woman.
She might be a young woman but a woman nonetheless.

If rumours are true, at least one of them is turning out true (Jessica Chastain). She also previously worked with the director in "Mama".

anyone else think [BLACKOUT] pennywise growing huge spider like arms in The end fight, was a reference to The spider design of mini series? Thought it looked exactly alike [/BLACKOUT]

It's basically Chastain's role to lose at this point.
