True, I've seen actors turn down some great opportunities for the most asinine reasons so it's just a wait and see game.

But, if she does turn it down, they could always get Bryce Dallas Howard instead. :sly:

Yeah, there's basically a trifecta for red-haired actresses. You've got Jessica Chastain, Amy Adams, Bryce Dallas Howard, and...I feel like I'm forgetting someone. That's gonna drive me insane. Anyone have any idea who I'm thinking of?

What did they describe "IT's" final form as? I honestly don't remember, or did they at all? How do you really visualize "pure evil" anyway? Not as a giant spider, that's for sure. :o

The Russian division of Burger King has officially filed a complaint with the country’s Federal Anti-Monopoly Service (FAS) demanding the horror film smash “IT” be banned in the country.
Is it because of objectionable content? Sort of. Seems the company claims that the film’s clown character Pennywise looks so much like Ronald McDonald that it, therefore, equates as an advertisement for Burger King’s biggest rival McDonalds.
“IT” opened in Russia on September 7th and has grossed $14 million in the country so far and, as of Tuesday, is still available in more than 100 movie cinemas throughout Russia.
A spokeswoman for the FAS confirmed to THR that Burger King’s complaint has been received and is being evaluated to see if the film contains advertising or product placement. There is no timeframe for consideration of complaints of that kind.
Burger King has been actively and aggressively expanding its operations in Russia and recently got in trouble with regulators over its cryptocurrency – the WhopperCoin.

I imagine you are searching for Julianne Moore. Or (too young for Bev) Karen Gillan.

Well if you don't mind counting faux redheads, there's also Emma Stone (she's a redhead who was just mistakenly born with blonde hair :sly:). Mind you, she's obviously also too young to play Bev in her late 30s. Same applies to Sophie Turner.

I thought for Bill that Ben Foster would be a good pick

BJ Novak for Eddie.

Ah, yes. I too remember mistaking Pennywise for Ronald's twin when the first pic came around. You can't tell the difference to be honest. :o

Yeah, pretty much any gangly slightly nerdy looking white guy with black hair can be Eddie. I chose Novak due to not only the similarity looks wise but because I think he can maintain the sense of hyper nervousness and cynicism that the character had in the flick as an adult.

Colin Hanks is the guy I would love to see get the part but Novak is a pretty great choice.

It will be interesting to see who does get cast in the adult parts. It seems David Dastmalchian would be interested in playing Richie. Take a look at his Twitter account.

When I'm watching IT, all I think is: 'I really want a Big Mac'

what about getting Jason Ritter for Ben?

I've literally been saying this since I heard about the remake. This desperately needs to happen.

And plus, last I checked Jason has a beard just like his pops had around the time he filmed the miniseries. It couldn't be more perfect.

How about NO

Im tired of all this retcon love for that abortion of a miniseries

it was garbage

I would prefer lesser known or nobody actors for the adults

what Chapter 2 NEEDS to do is include the death of Adrian Mellon, which kick starts the whole thing in the present day story and got wholly ignored in the mini series

It does have that kind of creepy, iconic imagery that the Georgie scene had for the opening of the Kids section.

When Andy was presenting the trailer, i believe at Comic Con, when asked about the sequel, he mentioned the Adrian Melon sequence including the whole
Armpit Bite
and hinted at it being the introduction for the sequel.

Yeah the bridge scene is an absolute must.

He also hinted that we could see The Black Spot as well in the sequel.
