Was rather surprised by how "meh" the first season was. Especially the anti-climatic ending. The big attack just fell apart. I might watch the first episode of the second season.

Oh man, this new season looks tremendous. I can't wait. One thing that I really hope doesn't change is Pope. Last season they handled that character perfectly. He was a scum bag, a coward and a sadistic rapist. But the Second Mass had to work with him, because in that type of setting, you don't get to be picky about allies. I don't want to see redemption from him or anything like that. I want him to continue to be a monster with whom they work out of necessity to preserve the species.
