I'D LOVE FOR ANOTHER ALIEN RACE TO SHOW UP WANTING TO TAKE OVER EARTH ONLY TO END UP FIGHTING THE FIRST ALIEN RACE LOL

HAS THAT EVER HAPPENED IN A MOVIE?

Maybe I'm just too used to surprise twist endings... but at the end there, I had a weird feeling that a switch had been flipped in Ben and he was going to push Matt off the roof.

oh wow i was thinking the same thing.

Variety's reporting that Falling Skies is on the verge of getting a season three pick-up.

So, for those of you acting like the sky is falling (:oldrazz:), don't worry too much.

Cool I think the 2nd season has been a lot more interesting and its good its got a Renewal

The second season is really good so far. I'm only three episodes into it and so far it is really good. This show does grunge really well. So well that it churns my stomach looking at the dirty mouths and unwashed faces. Makes me wonder how bad they smell which they mentioned in a couple of episodes with the Berserkers.

Caught up on the last two eps, Weaver's daughter and Diego aren't very bright. Tom and Weaver continue their manly bromance and clearly Hal takes after Tom when it comes to the Ladies......although Anne's comment about lack of water before they went to do the sexing gave me pause for thought.

I thought the scenes with Hal and Maggie were well done in the last episode, although I don't get why she got all fussed after he made the move she clearly wanted.

Skitter revolution? Not sure I like that idea.

That [blackout]harnessing lab[/blackout] was some grade-A nightmare fuel.

It was like Aliens meets the Carbon Freeze chamber!

Thanosrules will be pleased!

I'M IN LOVE WITH MAGGIE, SHE IS SO BEAUTIFUL!!!

I'VE STARTED TO NOTICE THAT THEY DO A LOT OF LONG CUT TRACKING SHOTS IN THIS SHOW. SIMILAR TO HOW THEY DID IN "FIREFLY", THEY WILL START AT ONE END OF THE CAMP AND GO THROUGH THE ENTIRE CAMP WITHOUT ANY CUTS.

THIS IS VERY HARD TO DO AND CHOREOGRAPH. ESPECIALLY WHEN IT INVOLVES SWITCHING BETWEEN AS MANY CHARACTERS THAT THEY DO. EVERYTHING HAS TO GO PERFECTLY, IF ONE THING GOES WRONG AT THE VERY END OF THE SHOT THEN THATS A LOT OF WORK DOWN THE TOILET.

JUST MAKING ME APPRECIATE THE SHOW MORE AND MORE

Renewed! So much for the "terrible ratings," eh?

I am guessing there will be a serious time jump. By the time they get to Charleston

Well the show has lost viewers...and they dwindle at a rate i would say is "concerning" but not catastrophic. That being said it is still a productive cable TV series.

It doesnt mean changes won't occur to address the loss of viewers. The budget is not set in stone either. This could be just what the show needs to get better. It wouldnt be the first show I did not like after a couple seasons that lasted years and ended up being solid runs. (SG-1 was this for me).

I do acknowledge an improvement in the show, although it still isnt enough for me to really get into it.

That season is already a huge improvement compared to the first one.

I like this show, i'm all caught up on season 1 and season 2 is better.

Did i miss an ep somewhere? In the season 2 premier, Tom returns after a few months with the Aliens but doesn't remember what happened to him. In last nights ep, and the ep before, he remembers being tortured. When did he get his memory back, i'm confused?

I was wanting Tom to slap his boys upside the head this week, firstly Hal needed to realize Maggie > Karen, and Ben? how dumb are you? It was obvious Karen was a Trojan play to get the skitter revolution faction.

That **** with Jamil was hardcore.

****ing hell.... Jamil..... ****ing hell...

that bit creeped the **** outta me

That had to be one of the worst ways to die I've ever seen by super termites that killed him from the inside out.

Just caught up with the past two episodes and loving it. The revolution angle is very interesting. Ben falling for Karen's deception was eye rolling though. Come on man. Loved when Tom shot the overseer. I thought Jamil would die from his wounds, but did not expect "eaten from the inside out" way. I don't think Charleston will be what they expect it to be. I'm thinking it has already been wiped out. So far, really enjoying the season.

I think Charleston's going to be safe at least when 2nd Mass arrives. Pretty sure Terry O'Quinn will be playing its leader.

Its confirmed now that the aliens could have wiped out humanity if they wanted to. Looks like they still need humans for some unspecified reason. Probably slave labor?

The stuff Karen was saying about seeing the threads that connect everything probably plays into the aliens' plans.

I thought this was the best episode the show has had so far, some good character moments, plenty of tension and action, as well as being visually nice! and the sooner Maggie shoots Karen the better.

I know, that was gross. :( Looks like it's finally killed off poor Lourdes' optimism as well.

I honestly didn't expect that scene. This season is really taking a toll on the characters. Did you guys see the preview for the new episode in two weeks? Seems like zombies, but I doubt it.

I bet they get to Charleston and it's a ghost town......

also, Lourdes sure turned cynical/fatalistic...........:(
