I think Charleston is a....

I thought this was the best episode the show has had so far, some good character moments, plenty of tension and action, as well as being visually nice! and the sooner Maggie shoots Karen the better.

I know, that was gross. :( Looks like it's finally killed off poor Lourdes' optimism as well.

I like Karen's character a lot, really don't want to see her go. It's just so interesting to see someone who was part of the resistence, now totally in the Alien's camp. It's an interesting switch from Ben who hates what the Aliens did to Karen who seems to like it.

Anyone think Charleston could all be harnessed? Maybe dead? Anyway, I'd be shocked if it is paradise.

I'm still thinking that Charleston is the colony that was spoken of in the season opener

is there going to be a new episode tonight?

No believe there is a 2 week break :(

ah, thanks.

well, in a way that's good, won't take away from the Olympics. Go USA!!!

I think it comes on next sunday because the last episode promo said "in two weeks" which makes me think it skips a week and resumes the next.

I don't know whether or not I love this show, or hate it. It's tough to decide.

Well, I love it. Its the perfect lead in to Breaking Bad for me.

And "Small Town Security" is the PERFECT follow-up show to "Breaking Bad" :D

I think that would be a fairly easy distinction to make. :o

It's difficult for me. On one hand, it's got a great post apocalyptic feel to it. But that is dumbed down every other episode or so with your classic 'after school special' sub plot. Feels like an end of the world tv show, put on by the Disney children's channel.

Yet, I love the premise, and a lot of the delivery. But there are other parts I just make me roll my eyes. I think the main problems for me revolve around 1)the eldest brother, who is so naive, and can I say stupid, that it drives me up the wall, and 2)Doctor what's her face. Moon Bloodgood is awesome, she's hot, and a great actress, but every time she comes on screen, the show feels suddenly dumbed down.

I'm happy this season that they offed the two secondaries that were most annoying (the fix it guy, and the white rapper) though I think they were made intentionally annoying so that we as an audience could feel good about ourselves when they actually were killed.

IMO, the show lacks that feeling of loss and desperation, for me atleast.

Yet, I like the concept. And the other main characters are pretty solid. Ben's a little weak, but his role is a tough one to pull off. Pope, the badboy, needs to be a little badder, and also a little more useful (in season 2 atleast). But the rest are good characters and well played.

I guess in the end, I like the show, but it's all a little too happy when they get back to base camp. Life in this show should suck, both out in the wilderness, or at home base. I feel that that is what the show is lacking for me.

I love it for the post-apocalyptic setting.

My only 2 dislikes are the fact that there are ALOT of coincidences on the show, what I mean is they always find JUST what they need for whatever new situation comes up.

And my second dislike is the damn Jesus-Freak nurse, the one who was with the fix-it guy. First she was telling everyone that lost loved ones in the war that "everything can be fixed with prayer and GOD will save/protect them". But whenever the guy SHE likes gets killed she turns into a little ball of pathetic. Crying about how all hope is lost

They blew their budget on that one, Spielberg or no.

What the hell happened with Maggie, Hal and Pope?! And that little skitter girl on the med bus?

They ran into Porter's squad, figured that was pretty self-explanatory when they showed up at the end with them

I asked that question before they showed what happened. lol

i was expecting to see hal, maggie or pope come out of the bushes after escaping capture or something. i was not expecting the soldiers.

Jesus-Freak Nurse was still being a little *****. She seemed to snap out of it at the very end, hopefully she's done or killed off soon

tbh, i don't blame her for freaking out....
the man she loved just died infront of her eyes from being eaten from the inside out
... The switch at the end of the episode was a bit too sudden though

I would be fine with her reaction also if the first season she wasnt trying to tell everyone else that lost ACTUAL LOVED ONES that it was gods plan and praying to god will make them feel better.

When it happens to her with some guy she just flirted with she loses her ****
