Interesting, it looks like something big must happen in the season premiere to alter things so drastically from where last season ended. I'm surprised we got a teaser this far out as well.

Especially when you consider that we've seen virtually nothing for the third season of Dallas, which will presumably air a few months before Falling Skies starts back up again.

That looks very interesting. The Aryan Brown Shirt Academy Tom's youngest is seen in implies a whole lot. I really hope the social implications of the show's central plot are explored. This is nothing less than the razing and rebuilding of human civilization. The rise of various ideological responses to that would be cool to explore. But... I am not too certain Wyle and the other creators would allow the show to go down that road too long. That being said, color me intrigued.

She will play Sara, a woman far removed from her former life as a graphic designer who is now dogged by death at every turn, yet she has never felt more alive, free or fearless. A chance encounter with guerrilla fighter John Pope (Colin Cunningham) leads her to join the resistance and develop a strong personal bond with the outlaw-turned-warrior. This marks Oscar winner Sorvino’s return to TNT where she recently toplined drama pilot Trooper. Falling Skies is produced by DreamWorks TV.

Scarlett Byrne, who played Pansy Parkinson in the final three Harry Potter movies, has joined the cast of TNT’s alien drama Falling Skies as a new series regular. She plays a mysterious young woman with special powers and an unusual connection to the alien invaders. Byrne’s character, who is said to be key to the story next season, is featured in the final frame (pictured right) of the recently released first Season 4 trailer. (you can watch it below). Byrne, repped by the BWH Agency, Schumacher Management, and Hansen Jacobsen, recently wrapped feature Skybound.

"Falling Skies" returns to TNT for its fourth season this summer, and when it does, there will be several new faces, including Mira Sorvino in the recurring role of Sara. On Wednesday, March 5, TV Guide posted new details about her and a first look photo showing Pope (Colin Cunningham) and Sara both armed.

When this casting was first announced, Sara was described as someone who was "far removed" from her previous career as a graphic designer and feels "free and fearless." An encounter with Pope leads her to join the resistance, and the two develop a "strong personal bond."

Now, executive producer David Eick has revealed, "She's a ballsy, brash woman with a complicated past. She proves to be a worthy foil – and ultimately a love interest – for Pope. They have a classic love-hate dynamic." Would you expect to hear a love interest for Pope described any other way?

However, Pope should maybe be careful about how much he trusts Sara since Eick also revealed that "she has her secrets, weaknesses, hypocrisies and vulnerabilities." Unfortunately, as we've learned on this show, you have to be careful of anyone new you encounter in this post-alien invasion world.

As for what else is coming up in "Falling Skies" season 4, check out scoop from the New York Comic-Con panel, along with an epic trailer. The resistance is going to be separated, the moon is a chief theme and there are going to be new aliens.

The new season is off to a disorientating start, for some reason I thought [BLACKOUT]Anne was dead[/BLACKOUT]. I do like Tom's new dual role though, very cool. It's a bold direction the show has taken this far into the series.

Just finished watching the Premiere overall I liked it this season is going to be very interesting. Surprising they split half of the group up the masons anyway.
