Sci-Fi Stranger Things (Netflix) - Part 1

Netflix has announced the first two cities for its gigantic new in-person experience venues, slated to open in 2025.

They're not exactly theme parks, but the new Netflix Houses — to open next year in King of Prussia, Pa., and Dallas — will feature a wide array of shopping outlets, eateries and experiential activities tied to the streamer's major franchises like "Bridgerton," "Stranger Things" and "Squid Game."

The two locations will occupy former department store locations at the King of Prussia Mall (at 180 North Gulph Road) near Philadelphia and at the Galleria Dallas (13350 Dallas Parkway), each spanning footprints of more than 100,000 square feet.

I guess that means we won't be seeing this until late 2025 at the earliest.

I thought it would be sooner. I'm halfway through my rewatch. Finished season 2 today.
Even the Duffer Brothers thought it would be sooner.

Unfortunately, they couldn't have predicted that there'd be a WGA and SAG strike that would cost them half a year of production time.

I could have sworn they released the episode list already without the redacted name in episode 2, unless that was a leak?
I believe it was The Vanishing of _____ Wheeler, and I'm guessing it might be Mike and Nancy's little sister.

So I have used this Thanksgiving weekend to watch this for the first time every episode and well.....I get what the hype is all about. For season Five, I want to see how the Stoner Friend of Jonathan's reacts to these monsters.

Also, the role of Joyce is one of my favorite Wynona Ryder roles.

I get this show is probably expensive AF to make, but streaming services should be ready to treat their shows as shows instead of having long hiatuses in between seasons and releasing them whenever.

Having a consistent release schedule would make them too much like those horrid network stations. :o

I agree. Stranger Things was struck by terrible luck though. The show would have been wrapped up already if it weren't for Covid delaying season 4 and the WGA/SAG strikes delaying season 5. What's worse is splitting seasons up like Netflix is notorious for. I only just now started catching up with Cobra Kai S6 because releasing five episodes at a time months apart is ridiculous.
