I haven’t seen a Scooby Doo movie since the teamed up with The Harlem Globetrotters.

I would be interested in a contemporary story. Someone getting hold of Brenner's research and restarting it now. Perhaps doing a Aliens type thing with a unit of marines and scientists exploring another dimension and the creatures that they encounter

Id actually prefer that. Im not interested in seeing another story set in the 80s with a diferent set of characters. Been there done that. Something more modern would feel fresh at least

In all seriousness, I actually do prefer it to Jim Carrey's A Christmas Carol (which was also by Zemeckis).

The Polar Express book is a childhood classic. The movie? Not so much.

once again I have to give props who does the score for the series mixing in the music from Running Up That Hill into the score of the episode with Max and Holly is so good, they deserve a raise.

Speaking of, I'm actually curious where all the songs are. There was "Upside Down" and that Butthole Surfers song but they've been leaning hard on "Running Up That Hill" and of course they played that Moby song again. By comparison seasons 3 and 4 had a ton of needle drops. I refuse to believe they had a low music budget for this.
