They also say, well GOTG are no name characters. But most of SS characters are also no name characters to the public too.

MOS and BVS also did better than the first 2 Marvel Movies.

Marvel is also great BUT people are just being too hard on DC. OR their expectations of DC are so high that they have to create a perfect movie just to pleased the critics.

If I'm not wrong SS will have little to no competition in overseas markets. There are no big budget action blockbusters out there against SS so I expect it to do really well even without China.

We're looking at 263 million after the 3rd weekend in the domestic market and with signs of good weekday holds it should cross 300 million at the end of it's theatrical run. While 300 million in overseas markets is pretty much a lock after the 3rd weekend and add to that the Germany release so final figures could be north of 30 million in global market this coming weekend.

Lol you don't want to open that box here. I've learned from experience you can't win these arguments. I just let the negative posters wallow in their negativity and misery while I just enjoy myself reading the posts and enjoy the movies.

what you say doesnt make since just because MOS and BVS did better than the first 2 marvel films doesnt mean they were a sucess when their budgets were bigger then the budgets of the marvel films you compare them too suicide squad beating gaudians of the galaxy right now doesnt prove anything when i bet my like suicide squad wont outgross gaudians of the galaxy domestically or worldwide by the end of its run

700 million seems a stretch at the moment but I am optimistic that with 300 million in the domestic market and 350 million in the overseas market, SS would gross close to 650 million and that would be a very good result. It would also get a sequel greenlit by WB.

Also, just realized (not that it matters to SS) but this will be Will Smith's highest grossing film next to ID4. Not bad considering he's been having a rough decade. Altbough his movies always tend to do admirably regardless of quality.

650 is an ok number for a suicide squad film lol

thats a great number if 650 million WW is a problem for the DCEU then thats a good problem to have only 9 super hero movies have a higher number that didn't hit 1 billion

Some people just still can't take criticism (even nuanced criticism) when it comes to DC movies. It's getting a little old frankly.
