I really love the concept of Will Smith's normal film persona (the way he acts in 95% of his movies) interacting with The Joker. I feel like that alone is worth the price of admission.

A mix between his Enemy of the State and I Am Legend performance and what he will be doing in Focus mixed in with the way Lawton/Deadshot was portrayed in Assault On Arkham would work!

I find the star power both exciting and jarring. This cast is more reputable than what the Justice League cast will be--at least by experience and proven on-screen presence. Yeah, Ben Affleck as Bats, I get it, but Superman (pre-Man of Steel), Wonder Woman, Cyborg, Flash are all people I don't think I've ever seen before, and although recognizable Jason Momoa is hardly at the same level as Tom Hardy.

I wonder if Warner Brothers is trying to look these guys in a franchise that won't be as taxing on stars as the MCU has been (RDJ, Scarlet, Chris Evans, Sam Jackson), who have been or will been in 6-8 pictures by the time Avengers Infinity Wars II hits. I can't imagine there would be 6-8 appearances for Deadshot and Rick Flagg, maybe 3 appearances tops, whereas Gal Gadot and Henry Cavil are going to be asked to do the 6-8 film treatment--and be thankful for it.

I'll start off the bat and say I'm not a fan of Smith, he's too loud, brash and too much in love with his personna BUT when he brings his Ali 'game' to the table he's solid.

Massive but dwindling since she left her show and her network has pretty much gone nowhere. She's nowhere near the cultural guru she was. Why do you think she's done The Butler and Selma? She needs to keep herself relevant. I doubt she would've even taken WB's call 5-6 years ago. But now she needs the boost.
