I do kinda wonder what Leto's physique will be like. A lot of the manips early on were from his almost skeletal state from working on a part. I don't think he should go that thin, nor should he be super bulked up. But I think if he could go for a lean and wiry shape that would be good. Joker isn't about power and big muscles. I think he's springy, able to lash out like a coiled snake, then continue whatever else he was in the middle of calmly. A very lean look would be my ideal.

This. I believe he only ate like 200 calories during this time and lost all the weight in a month. Very dangerous. He's also gone hardcore the other way with Mark David Chapman. The man doesn't lack for dedication but it scares me.

This size and shape makes him look so creepy and Joker like. His face is so gaunt, you wouldn't need much appliances to his face, just his nose I think.

I'm not sure if he'll go for extreme weight drop for two reasons.

a) He doesn't have much time before the filming begins.

And b) I recall him saying he won't change his weight significantly for the roles anymore. I believe that he had some medical complications due to that in the past.

From what I've seen,it only took him about a month to get down to his DBC weight.
He's got plenty of time to do it again if he wanted to.
