And in other news, WhatCulture listed Suicide Squad as the upcoming most comic book movie most likely to be terrible. Because apparently it's been garnering nothing but negative reaction and hatred from fans. They even said the new batsuit got a bad reception :whatever:

WhatCulture is pure clickbait.

Yeah, I guess most of them are fine with it. Though, I'm pretty sure there's still some who dislike it like this girl who always cosplays as classic Harley at my LCS during FCBD; she doesn't care about this movie because of Robbie's look.

I know a Harley fan who doesnt like the look because Robbie has no ass. I am not even kidding.

Jared earlier with a fan. He is no longer in Toronto! #SuicideSquad

Jim Parrack has retweeted Questlove Gomez ‏@questlove 5 h
It's @Common #SuicideSquad #AbelTarrant https://instagram.com/p/31hN2zwaye/

Did Parrack confirm Common's tattooed man?

QUEST! Interesting he hash tagged Abel Tarrant, I would think he would at least use Mark Richards.

I wonder if Quest knows something or he's a comic fan and knew who the hell Abel Tarrant is, which would be impressive cause barely anybody knows who that is.

I wouldn't doubt he's Tattooed Man, but Parrack has been known for years to troll the fans and have fun. He frequents many message boards.

Parrack only ReTweeted it, so he can't get the blame.

As of right now Margot is confirmed in Toronto. Jared and Cara are not and the rest of the cast is unknown. #SuicideSquad

I didn't notice before that Tattooed Man had the same piercings Common is using. I think that makes it more likely that he is Tats Man.

What's the Tattoo Man's powers?
Can he make tattoos?
Can he make tattoos... disappear?

You know where I'm going with this.

He can animate his tattoos and cause them to leave his body as physical entities, so I suppose it is possible that he may be able to weaponise The Joker's, too.

If he is Tattoo'd Man, any version... Wowzers. Not in a million years... In fact, I just have a hard time seeing them pulling that character off without significant changes.

That's a weird power, but it was handy against Guy going crazy.

same, inc. i know we're not in the nolanverse, but the tattoo man is the last person i expected to show up due to his very unique and fantastical power set. very curious to see how they translate him if he is in fact the tattoo man.

I think I can see a version of Doctor Mist far more in Common than imagining him as TM, throwing magical tattoos at opponents. But then, there seems to be lots that I am surprised at, with Ayer as director no less. He does seem to be embracing a lot of the fantastical so, who knows?

Here's hoping he is just an arms dealer or someone that gives info to the squad in a scene.

Even if he's an underground/underworld arms dealer or something, he looks very.....elaborate. I have a feeling he'll turn out to be a magical character. Whether or not it's Dr. Mist or Tattooed Man remains to be seen. Personally, I'm leaning more towards him as Dr. Mist.

But you have to remember that, with Enchantress alone, magic and associated weirdness is inevitably a big part of this movie.

Yeah. That's what I meant by it seems that Ayer is embracing the wild and weird so why not A TM throwing magic tattoos at people?

There is a guy who throws boomerangs and another guy who uses indestructible ropes as weapons in this movie. I'm not holding it past Ayer to include a magical Tattooed Man who throws magic tattoos at people. If anything, that character would bring Ayer's "art imitating life" experiences full circle. :o

Dr. Mist.

He's an agent of A.R.G.U.S. with Waller. She brings him in to help June Moone control the Enchantress. The two of them show up in the JL movie, working with Steve Trevor. Also an agent of A.R.G.U.S.. Leads into Justice League Dark.

:woot:
