DC fans- watch the Cap: Civil War tomatometer tonight and you will see how it's done. ;)

Just havin a lil' josh! :woot:

All joking aside, as a Brit I really can't understand this obsession with RT... not something we bother about anymore!

Also, always worth remembering that financial success does not equal good movie! Some of (what are considered) the best regarded movies in history were critical and box office failures, yet movies like Titanic made a fortune.
I fully expect CW to make more than BvS, unfortunately.

All that chitchat's gonna get you banned.

Why don't you visit the BvS boards instead, they would like you there (assuming that you're not a regular user there yet).

Why unfortunately? What if it's a much better movie? BvS would have killed the box office if it hadn't been for the reviews and terrible word of mouth.

Nothing unfortunate about it. If they earn their money - good for them. Marvel deserves their success. After all, Marvel paved the way for DCEU. We should be grateful.

I am tempted to post the Joker dropping the grenade and saying "buh-bye" gif in response to Jim-H, but I am not sure if I will get in trouble for doing so, so I will just leave it.

And Sam Raimi's Spiderman paved the way for Marvel. And Tim Burton's Batman paved the way for Sam Raimi's Spiderman. :sly:
They didn't create an interconnected universe.

They didn't create an interconnected universe.

Every movie added something to the comic book movie genre. Marvel's contribution was the interconnected universe, but they certainly weren't the only reason that comic book movies are huge box office money earners today.

Emilia Clarke in Suicide Squad 2??

Marvel brilliantly realized the idea and DCEU is doing the same now. Of course they didn't invent comic book films. And first successful CBM were made by WB, as much as I know.

It seems like the main villain is actually
the Joker. The question is how he manipulates Enchantress into causing destruction with a specific goal in mind. Maybe he will have the same disposition as Heath Ledger's Joker in TDK where he convinces Dent to go out and murder because he should embrace anarchy. So I'm guessing that Leto's Joker will give Enchantress 'a little push' just for the sake of her causing chaos. But the more I think about it this Joker seems to be above chaos in the sense that he is very eccentric and obviously has money based on the clothes he wears and the arsenal he has. It is not only just bullets, gasoline and explosives. So maybe it will be some sort of turf war.

Your title may become a reality if you keep that up...

I don't wish to derail the thread, but your post has piqued my curiosity as to what his user title was before he got banned.

Of course they weren't. All I'm saying is MCU showed a working model of where future comic book films can expand. It's a working model that DCEU adopted.
