Do you guys think this film should make some references to the DC Heroes, namely to the ones that would have been established after "Dawn of Justice" comes out?

Personally, I think it would actually make sense if one of the SS members asks Waller on what they should do if they were to encounter one of those heroes while on their missions?

Heck, I remember Deadshot asking Waller about that in "Assault on Arkham" as well.

If the Kinnaman casting is true, then the guy would be a rising star and can be locked into doing more DCCU movies.

The guy's going to be in a movie with Liam Neeson, which can get him a little mainstream exposure before SS.

Closer to TDK than Avengers makes sense. Though it will have its fantastical elements. Enchantress is in it, and this is existing in the same world with superpowered aliens, costumed vigilantes, sea kings, and demigoddesses.

Ayer can definitely throw in some dark humor with these characters and have it not clash with a gritty tone that an off the books black ops team, even in a world with Superman and Batman in it, should probably have.

They can give characters a sense of humor without making the movie's whole world feel light.

As a comic book and Wonder Woman fan, I love the whole DC Comics universe. I traded comic books as a kid so all of that appeals to me. When you dream about being an actor as a kid, that’s what you dream about. That’s like play acting: being the superhero, getting the gun; it plays into that fantasy. How to Get Away with Murder changed my exposure. I don’t know if it changed the quality of roles as much as it changed the exposure. I mean certainly Amanda Waller is a fabulous character.
