In response to your last line, that is just in the comics.

The person did say that they didn't have their phone with them or a watch so that estimate is most likely going by how the movie's pacing felt and the [BLACKOUT]multiple Jokers[/BLACKOUT] is in the comics, not the movies.

Was the [BLACKOUT]multiple Jokers[/BLACKOUT] rumor debunked? Cause last I heard it was rumored that [BLACKOUT]Jared Leto's Joker[/BLACKOUT] wouldn't be the only [BLACKOUT]Joker[/BLACKOUT] in the DCCU.

There will be around 10 minutes of credits so the "real" runtime is 95 minutes. That's not nearly enough time to set up and develop all these new characters and villains and involve Batman. And this not being the final cut isn't remotely reassuring. It's highly unlikely they would add 20+ minutes of character development and other important material into the film this close to the release date. That runtime of this cut is most likely going to be what we get in theaters.

With this runtime and the rumor about there being [BLACKOUT]multiple Jokers[/BLACKOUT] I'm losing faith and anticipation.

I believe other people were saying it was closer to 2 hours, with one person saying 2 hours 10 minutes(?)

aside from that, I doubt that the person that reported it was 1 hour and 45 minutes stayed for the credits/was including that in their estimate

I know viewers probably signed an NDA, but I think they would have at the very least hinted to there being multiple Jokers running around in the movie if that was the case. I don't think thats true, at all.

Clearly shooting a truck driver in the face is a very likable anti-hero. I'm worried for Harley's solo now.

They all do to be honest, which is why I suspected this film to be rather mild, despite what Ayer said about this being a different CBM, for a while now. This article kinda fills me with hope that we will see these villains be, well, villains.

Good. I've never liked the idea of Harley as an anti-hero anyway. She might be a tragic, sympathetic and likable villain, but she's still a damn villain. I'm fine with her being sort of an anti-villain however.

Also, the movie has gone through major reshoots. That selective underlining may not be the outcome.

I'm here to see some vicious killers get pitted against something worse than they are. That said, I imagine anyone with a shred of humanity could at least look on Harley's situation with some sympathy...judging from the trailers and the leaked filming footage of Joker and Harleen confronting one another (with the trucker), Harley's been to Hell and back. I think its very telling that we see Batman, a murderer, actually trying to save Harley instead of writing her off and going for the Joker.

Yea, the studio may have decided to make Harley more friendly.

However, I like that DC characters aren't finished products by their first film in the DCEU.

I would want Harley to be a villain in SS and maybe SS2. Then once she's off on her own with maybe Batgirl and Black Canary that she truly finds the "hero" side of her.

When characters aren't finished products by the end of the movie it gives you more room to grow in the next films.
