When "Hollywood reporter" simply calls thier source "a source" without citing then you have my premission to be skeptical

More so because Flash need big effects. I think Affleck asked Snyder to understand more about it.
At least WW, Flash and Aquaman are solo movies with more limited character, more focused.

But I hope this THR leak forced WB to understand and analyze this situation, wisely.
There's something wrong and they need to realize and know how to fix that.

I can already imagine the first intensive meeting about that THR article. :funny:
"WHO'S THE ONE THAT LEAKED IT?! HUH?! HUH?! HUH?!"

What leak? Did I miss something big?

That's not how it works. When was the last time you saw a source publicly named when the story is leaking internal conflicts? The reason such stories continue to exist is because anonymity is kept. THR isn't exactly a gossip mag. I'm sure they've verified their sources.

Apple could literally buy every movie studio in Hollywood and still have over $100B in cash reserves.

Yep. I think it's hilarious that people still believe movie companies like WB or Disney are where the money is when it comes to the entertainment industry. I have no affiliation to Apple, but I might well have to another company I've mentioned in my tweets recently, and the kind of cash they can potentially play with is obscene when it comes to entertainment properties.

Welp. He warned us.

Don't worry guys. Wonder Woman will get GREAT reviews. Much simpler, more streamlined plot from what I hear.

Not to mention Jenkins is a much better, much less divisive filmmaker than Snyder and Ayer.

And we finally have comic book writers actually writing the film. People who really get these characters.

I would also advide WB to actually release Wonder Woman *sooner*, if they can. Maybe in March. The DCEU needs a winner and it needs it FAST

So, I'm assuming he's comparing the final cut with an earlier version he saw?

Are we literally getting the exact same situation as BvS playing out AGAIN? ****! When will WB learn? "Learning" doesn't mean doubling down on your mistakes.

WB should just release whatever they have and don't over-analyze it, and make changes. It seems that's what's getting them in trouble.

You know what I've noticed? Nobody panics when everything goes according to plan...even if the plan is horrifying! If the media reports that a truckload of soldiers is blown up, nobody panics. But if three little old superhero movies get mixed reception from critics, everyone loses their minds!

I really wish big name tech companies would get into movie making. They could revolutionise how things are run. I get why most don't want to but I wish they would. The industry needs a shake up.

And yet Faraci and Signore like the movie.

I liked #SuicideSquad - is it dumb? Yes. Is it even bad at times? Yes. But I still enjoyed myself. Smith & Robbie had fantastic chemistry.

Hardly a ringing endorsement. Seems like overall he was meh on the actual movie but enjoyed certain characters in it.

Really not the different from a lot of people's thoughts on BvS

"Movie was meh but Affleck and Gadot were good"

I don't think there's been anything more positive than 'it's ok'.

It's human nature

I've been saying this for a while. The idea of a 'filmaker driven' blockbusters is a farce. Honestly, unless your name is Spielberg, Cameron, Nolan and maybe Ridley Scott, no studio is going to hand u a $200 mill check and leave u to your own devices. Fury
Road might as well be a unicorn really.

You shouldnt be surprised about studio interference with SS. there's just too much money at stake for these suits to sit on the sidelines. Marvel does the exact same thing, the difference is, they don't hide it and are open about how their producion process and universe works. The directors for the most part know what they're getting into the relationship between producers and director is more clear cut and collaborative. `

I'd be inclined not to believe that DanielRPK guy, he's been wrong a fair few times in the past

Ha lol then they have no one but themselves to blame for that bloated budget. This thing will make 600mm tops even if it has great legs.

It's like that scene from Dumb and Dumber when they find a suitcase with money. WB acts like these guys did with the cash what the hell kind of a plan is it to make a movie that needs 800 mil just to break even?

Not soon enough.

True dat. I think solo Batfleck film is the only one that has potential to be good, then Aquaman because of Wan but who knows if it even happens now

I don't think Ridley Scott has that much freedom. Prometheus and Kingdom of Heaven are examples of interference on his movies. Flip side is I think Gladiator and Martian both had a lot of studio input and those turned out great.
