some of that stuff doesn't add up. if she was born 1990, she committed her first crime when she was 19 ???? was this before or after Joker ? if it was after, how in the hell was she a psychiatrist at arkham at what, 18yo ? and sure spent a lot of time at bellereve.

Did anyone else laugh at that super random moment where Rick Flagg was eating fried chicken by the hotel window?

LOL! Thank you. I'm so glad I wasn't the only one.

No you weren't alone :funny:

where are all those new pics coming from? Some book accompanying the release of the film?

I just gave up on figuring out the continuity or logic of...all of it, really :funny:

Harley Quinn in every DCEU movie. Make it happen.

Presenting, the new musical sensation, the band that's taking over the world by storm, Task Force X with their new album Suicide Squad featuring classics like - No Money, No Honey, You Don't Want No Beef?, Boomerang always comes back, Handsome Hunka Hunka, ...

Ayer CONFIRMS the theory about the teeth and where the Damaged tattoo came from (meaning Harley couldn't have been an accomplice, contrary to what the text in her intro says)

"This is sort of my personal thing and maybe less about a larger connection. But Joker killed Robin and Batman basically smashes his teeth out and locks him up in Arkham Asylum. It’s in the asylum where Joker would have done the ‘damaged’ tattoo as a message to Batman saying, 'You’ve damaged me. I was so beautiful before and now you’ve destroyed my face.' That’s where the grill comes from."

"There’s a linear version we did where it opens up with June in the cave and tells the story in sequence with the arrests and Batman, and then we go to Belle Reve. Honestly, there may be six or seven different versions of the film. In that version, [test] audiences were left with a lot of questions and a little disoriented as to who to watch and why. So we came up with what we call the ‘dossier’ version which has Amanda presenting the backstories and origins of the various members."

You could easily make this R-rated by having two F-bombs or someone smoke a cigarette. But that’s not what I think people mean when they ask for an R-rated version, so it was always meant to be a PG-13. It’s a decision you make before you turn the cameras on.

The very first script started in Belle Reve and told the backstories of everybody in these sort of flashback montages. The original conception is that there would be these memory bursts as they sat in their cells recalling their previous lives and also get the audience up to speed about who they are and how they ended up there. The first impulse was always to do a montage in the first act, but you chase different things.

Very interesting, where is this from?

They should release a viral campaign - "edit your own version of the skwad and be in to win a trip to the set visit of the new movie Harley and the Joker"

After seeing it for a 3rd time yesterday, I couldn't help, but to cringe for how bad a villain Enchantress and her brother are. When her brother [BLACKOUT]got killed[/BLACKOUT] and she screamed "Brother!" in her language, that was just horrible. I can't believe how they could allow such a bad villain to be portrayed. And what was with the ridiculous dance-like moves and waving? They really should have kept her first form and not allow the abomination that followed.

And what was with her saying "You don't have the balls"???? You have a supposedly 6000 year old goddess and all you could think of is this? What did Ayer smoke before writing this?

I REALLY liked the movie, but I hadn't seen such a bad and cheesy villain in a long, long time. It truly pisses me off, because there are so many cool aspects in this film and the villain is far below anything else (quality wise) in the movie. I can see why they excluded most of the scenes regarding Enchantress from the trailers.

Man..they nailed crocs look but shat the bed with his voice and movement.

movement was very crocodile-like, but his voice and accent were terrible. he sounded like he came from Hicksville, seriously like those inbreed characters in horror movies, Hills Have Eye and alike. I really hated his voice. The rest was great.

Yeah...Croc was the least character I didn't care much for.

Now the guy who plays with fire, he was pretty something

I just hate that we are now stuck with that **** house voice/accent for this universe.

I love how in that pic they're all strutting their thing! lols

Especially Robbie, the dude with the tattoos and the other actress while Flag is keeping a straight face. lols

Long time lurker, like five years. I get mass entertainment from reading post and arguements. First post so here we go. First off I am definetaly a DC fanboy as you can tell by the name love batman and joker the most. However enjoy most marvel movies but they are really my introduction to that word. But this movie is the first to make me want to post. Also I feel like I have to say I liked bvs (that's like a criteria for posting around here)but as for suicide squad I loved it and was super dissapointed by it at the same time. Like some scenes were just ****ing perfect and Harley Quinn was ripped right from the animated series...soo good Margot did for that role what Heath did for joker. Will smith made me care about dead shot a lot more than any other incarceration. Joker was....can't even make a judgement off that little of screen time and am very mad they didn't give us more. I NEED IT NOW! The music was amazing house of the rising sun playing when introducing belle reeve was perfection. Considering it is in Louisiana couldn't find a better song. Same goes for wallers intro perfect song choice. Things that I have seen others question? Like why in the hell was Harley on the team that was meant to be a counter measure to the next superman. Easy, Waller explained it she is as crazy as joker and more fearless. She help kill robin. She is a legitimate rival to the bat, idk of anyone remembers batman whooped superman by himself. YOU gotta have Harley. Well that's my long post hope to have some good arguements in the future. P.s this movie made me like bvs less because of how fun it is and that's coming from someone who loves DC dark tone. Knock em all you want but marvel has a good formula

flag, always the straight man.
