I like all 3 movies as well. Sucks that I'm in the minority on that. However, you gotta just laugh at certain things.

Flawed as BvS is, no one can deny how ambitious in scale that film was. Moreover, it actually had something to say: Where does comic book Superman fit in today's post-911 world and what is the ultimate price of having unchecked power?

Not everyone cares for thought-provoking messages or themes in their CBMs, but I certainly do.

Just reminded me that we didn't get the Waller line "Every since Superman...they decided to creep out from the shadows."

Enchantress being on the team and the twist being that she was the one who created Incubus would have been cool imo.

Revealed that far too soon.

I do like that in the DCEU that Superman has been the galvanizing force behind the formation of the universe.

It brought Batman out of the shadows. It caused Amanda Waller to create a squad to deal with a Superman type threat. And his death has lead to the formation of the Justice League.

I know plenty would disagree but I do like how this universe has been formed and it has felt organic to me.

I was reading through here and see where they say there were 6 or 7 cuts of the movie. It would be interesting to see if they had the balls to do a HIGHLANDER: END GAME when they do the DVD release.

For those that do not know, here is what was done with H:EG.....The producer and director released to the theaters a version they didn't approve of because of pressure from the studio. It bombed. That version has never been released officially (there are probably bootleg copies somewhere). In the official studio DVD release....the studio told the producer he can release his original intended version. This had a couple of extra minutes that had a character that was killed in the theatrical release now shown to be alive (but no explanation of why they were alive). This made a few people happy, but overall it didn't change the quality of the film. In the same DVD release, they had a second disc with a "workprint" copy (workprint copies don't always have completed CGI, may have music and sound missing, etc) of a 3rd version of the movie. This had around 20 minutes of new footage added and 10 minutes of original footage removed. This changed the storyline and actually in my opinion was a superior version of the movie.

It would be interesting to see if WB would have the guts to do this with SS and release multiple versions for people to see.

Bad news:Whether it happens or not I can't confirm, but as of right now was told Man Of Steel sequel isn't officially planned get by WB.

Not saying MOS sequel won't happen but there are ppl at WB who have not heard it's a go yet. Was told "we got a lot of other stuff coming"

He works for The Wrap now. If that report of his doesn't pan out, it's going to reflect so bad on them since trades are generally held to a higher standard of excellence than your average run-of-the-mill scoop sites.

The difference being, the Highlander multiple release was done on original release of the movie to home video, and Blade Runner's being the 25th anniversary release. I would think that people would want an SS multi version release now as opposed to 25 years from now.
