How does that even work? Her character is psychotic and basically one-note from a personality perspective. Works way better as a supporting character instead of the primary focus.

I agree about her of how she works better as a supporting character but I think if you incorporate other characters and make them part of the story too, then it could work and she wouldn't necessarily have to be the primary focus where its all about her.

Make it interesting enough to have the viewers become invested in not only the story but the characters too. And have the film be a little more grounded...

Just...let the creative team do their thing and have fun with it and also be able to do a great job.

Neither did Jared Leto when he played Joker lol.

His motivations are too centered around getting Harley back in the small amount of scenes we see him in, but what does that have anything to do with his expressions? Are you trying to tell me that you're thinking of a "love sick puppy" when you see him talking to Ike's character or the guy in the laboratory?

Exactly. Villains in general don't work for solo character centered spin offs. Sony has been saying for years they're going to do one for Venom but its never gotten off the ground. A good thing, too, because he only works as an enemy to Spider-Man.

Same type of situation for Harley and especially Joker. They're Batman villains, and they work best as antagonists to Batman.

I can still seen a Harley Quinn film working but they should not make one until after the solo Batman film and Suicide Squad 2

I say bring back Katrina Law as Nyssa...she was pretty good on Arrow. I enjoyed what she brought to the character...ever since that scene where she makes out with Sara...lols.

Pretty obvious this movie is an homage to a lot of 80s movies.

That screenshot is from the bohemian rhapsody trailer and Incubus was also in that. The difference between that guy standing next to Enchantress and those creatures is that they have glowing eyes.

For some reason i enjoyed it more the 2nd time. The 1st time i just got finished reading some reviews and i think it effected my viewing experience because i was focused on things like editing and what not but the 2nd time i just "watched it" for what it was and easily enjoyed it. Plus the theater was packed so that helped when it came to the comedy. My 1st showing was early in the morning with like 20 ppl so yeah

Also, my morning show for Suicide Squad barely had half full.

And Doctor Octopus, I'm sorry to tell you that you got the meaning for "Expressive" all wrong. Translation error?

While I did notice that Harley Quinn's shorts were a bit inconsistent it apparently didn't strike me to think what I just heard, which is that they used CGI to make them smaller in some scenes.

That's one of the dumbest things I've ever heard about a movie.

It's actually the opposite. They used Cgi to make the shorts bigger for the trailers.

Just a thought...not a request per say. But lets just say if those actresses weren't on Arrow to begin with but landed the same role for a movie feature...then maybe?

Either way, I know it's not going to happen but I just think the actresses who did appear on the show would have been better suited as their respective characters in the DCEU instead of on the small screen.

Cause yeah I am in the minority that Arrow's quality fell short throughout seasons 3 and 4. I'm not going to bother with season 5.

Saw the movie on Monday and loved it. I had a blast in the cinema. All my mates loved it too. I think some people just go to the cinema prepared to hate movies in general. They look for flaws to moan about on the internet and have forgotten the purpose of going to the cinema. Solid 7/10.

Going to see it again this weekend.

Already (of course) thinking about doing an edit of the movie. All i've done right now if started the movie off with Waller's introduction (please to meet you) and put those Floyd/Harley scenes after the dinner scene and before she goes to Washington, to break that up a bit.
