I think the skirt is a must. Pants look too masculine.
I prefer a classic comics style for Supergirl. I think they should go with bright colors, with a classic "S" on the chest and a simple oval-shaped belt buckle. I'm not against pants or other minor alterations, but I am against knee-high boots and bare midriff designs.

if i was fighting crime or whatever, those would be two of the last things i would think to wear lol. i just don't know how psylocke has done it all these years
i prefer the skirt idea, but there would definitely be some shorts akin to what volleyball players wear underneath. if you're going to be flying and floating, you definitely don't wanna squirrel shot someone
