That's true, I think one of the issues is they never actually add a disabeled character, they always have characters become disabeled and then find a way past it, they need a character who just happens to be disabeled, not defined by it, not as a story arc that is then moved past.Transgender may be the last frontier for Hollywood in general and more power to whoever actually gets this role, but it Bugs me like crazy that they have not had an actual disabled person on an Arrowverse show. I'm not even sure it matters which one at this point.
They can still do whatever they want with the character I imagine, they wont be hamstrung as if equality is the goal then every character has to be open to the same arcs and the potential to be killed off.It means this character is likely permanent and will be a very main character. They can't ever get rid of this person now, even if the actor turns out to be terrible to work with or they have nowhere to go with the character's story, because there will be an uproar from the BLT community.
