I love seeing Lois' involvement. I hope she interacts with Iris West and Felicity Smoak.

Maybe the conversation will go like this:

Iris, pointing to her and Barry: "We are Flash."

Felicity pointing to Oliver: "Well, we are Arrow."

Lois, looking over at Clark: "Okay, well we are Superman!"

:o

To be honest, I am somewhat shocked that we haven't seen any set photos of Batwoman as of yet, especially since this crossover is supposed to act like a like "backdoor pilot" for her own series.

You would think an important character like that would be spotted on set by now, let alone alongside the rest of the major heroes. If I had not heard about her casting for this crossover and just came across all of these pictures, I would never assume that she was even in it in the first place.

I was just thinking the same thing. I'm starting to think her role in this is less "backdoor pilot" and more extended cameo than anything. Like one of the Elseworlds we get a glimpse of his hers and she has like 2 or 3 scenes or something.

I certainly won't complain if that's the case. I'm more interested in Superman's part in this than hers, so if he's getting more focus, that's fine by me.

Same here. With all this Superman, Batwoman faded into the background. I'm not all that excited to watch her to be honest, especially not with more Superman and Lois now.

BTW, I wish all these set photos were photos from a Superman series. Imagine if that happened and all the shooting pics we'd get.

I think if anything, CW should do like 4 episode events every year for Superman that air during hiatus. Tighter story, better budget, keeps things interesting and they can just focus on the larger stories.

I have floated an idea like this in the past. I think they would prove profitable, as they could sell them separately as their own mini-series events (that even Supes fans who otherwise don't keep up with the CW shows would probably eat up) and have guest-appearances from various Arrowverse characters to continue to promote those shows, too. If you double the typical Arrowverse episode budget, you're still only looking at a grand total of like $16mil for a 4-episode series, or $12mil for a 3-episode series.

And if it was only a 3-episode series, they could also combine them into a 2+ hour movie and put in theaters for a day or two for some extra profit like they do with Doctor Who and Game of Thrones on occasion.

Seeing as they're reviving 90's Flash, I wonder if he's from Earth-38.

Originally when they announced this crossover, it was originally going to be Batwoman before they involve Superman and Lois Lane and even the concept of an Elseworlds.

According to Candice Patton, she tweeted that Iris will only be in the Flash part of the crossover.

Today is Danielle's last day on the crossover in the Arrow part. I think Caitlin is in both Flash and Arrow parts of the crossover.

Well it is MG writing after all. Though I guess it is a step in the right direction to have 1 main writer but they still need to get 1 director since they are supposed to be 1 major "movie" now.

mmhmm. He is basically the "showrunner" of the crossovers.
Well, showrunner's one thing - someone's gotta oversee from show to show obviously - but the previous ones had different writers from each of the shows writing the scripts for different episodes. Is that not still the case?

Im pretty sure he is still the main writer for the crossover.

More so than previous crossovers, or the same?

Yes. Since they are gearing further away from "X feels like X" they arent utilizing the writers for each show like they have in the past. Pretty certain I read it somewhere and when I find it, I will post it just to 100% confirm.

Well that's a little disappointing. Not that I'm against the "same writers across all 3 episodes" thing, just that it has to be Guggenheim, lol.

Right! Amell confirmed it btw on one of his FB lives
"Marc Guggenheim this year actually took over for the crossovers and basically wrote all three scripts, which I thought was a fantastic idea, because it gave one person the chance on building the throughline, because, you know, the first hour is Flash and the second hour is Arrow and the third hour is Supergirl, but that's in names - name only. It might as well be Elseworlds, Hour 1, 2 and 3, because the crossover starts - just because it starts on the Flash doesn't mean it starts in Central City - although I think it does. I did, however, pitch, and it ended up in the script, the very first scene that you are going to see in the crossover, which is really funny. It's really, really funny."

^Thanks. As I said, I like the idea of the same writer(s) for all episodes, but if I were picking, it would be the Helbings from The Flash. They've got this crossover stuff down. Or a collaboration of Todd Helbing and Rovner or Queller. I don't trust Guggenheim (or any of the Arrow team, tbh) with the Supers. The Arrow and Legends portions of these crossovers have been the weakest to me in both years (especially in their handling of Supergirl), and those just happened to be Guggenheim's dojos.

Thinking the same thing. Before Supes and Lois showed up I thought she was going to be a major player. But if they're already wrapping up shoots on some of the eps then she must only be in one of them. I would much rather Supes and Lois showed up in a regular ep than the crossover, especially if they are hoping to spin off a new series.

Maybe this crossover is Marc Guggenheim's own Superman or Justice League movie?!

yeah I remember specificaLLY leave arrow cause of him and I gave him 4 season espeacilly after I was baited which shoould have let my self be when I notice bad qulityshow I drop it. and I let go of legends for the time being. I was very happy when they said he was let go fromthe arrow verse but sadly he was writing for marvel and messing that place up inthe litteral comic books of uncanny X-men them selves nearly turning kitty pryde and collosus into another Olicity and people took notice and it didn't do well there.

I also made sure not to watch the earth X part of arrow which I found out it was the right chose from other here nad people I know in my daily life. so if he's back which I don't understand why. then I 'll have to avoid this cross over altogether. . sorry to say and you most of thing's I wanted to say but it's like I'd have been harher but truthful.

he needs to go back to being a lawyer though it's clear he doesn't know much from when he did anything in the court room with his arrow scenes. it was just done mostly to show how stupid team arrow & the police force of starling / star city are.

There is no Flash on Earth-38. During that episode where Barry turned up with Kara, Kara had never heard of 'The Flash'. Furthermore, in the scenes we've seen with 90's Flash, we've also got Ollie in Red and Barry in Green (for whatever reason), and from what I've read (somewhere - I can't remember now) the 90's Flash is actually Barry Allen (in name) and not Earth-3's Jay Garrick (as I initially suspected).

In any case, the 90's Flash in the crossover could be from any number of Earth's. I don't suspect he'll be from Earth's 1, 2, 3 or 38.

You for got what earth 2 Dr.Wells told them in earth X 's cross over. there is one barry didn't find him but he/ she exist's as do all their counter parts it's just likely the flash isn't barry there and those people may not asnswer those name's .

Think what happen with small villewith the justice socity. where they hide them selves til they revealed them selves to clark . they might be using other names like the flash of small ville.

A while back, we got news that a twisted Arkham Asylum doctor would “draw GA, the Flash and Supergirl to Gotham.” So I figured he was going to be the crossover’s Big Bad. Additionally, Gotham appeared to be the obvious entry point for Batwoman.

But now it seems like the Monitor might be the bigger Big Bad (along with, perhaps, the evil doppelgangers of our heroes). IOW, maybe the Gotham setting is only a minor part of the overall story. And as such, maybe Batwoman’s appearance amounts to (as speculated) little more than a cameo…?

Arguably, if TBTB are already committed to producing a true Batwoman pilot, then her getting decent screen time during “Elseworlds” is less crucial.
